Steve has said he knew a place we could hide for a little. I stood behind him as we looked at the door ahead of us. Steve knocks, and soon the door opens to reveal an African American man who looks confused at us. "Hey man," he says

"I'm sorry about this, we need a place to lay low," Steve tells his friend

"Everyone we know is trying to kill us," Natasha says I almost snorted at the blunt comment but managed to hold it in. The man looks around before looking back at us.

"Not everyone," he says opening the door so we could enter I sighed in relief as we walked through the door. I pulled Steve's jacket tighter to my body though when I was in the apartment I took it off allowing my cape to fall behind me. "Damn," I heard him mumble I looked over to see Steve's friend staring at me.

"How rude," I mumble to myself before looking back at the ma "Uh- I'm Alya," I introduce sticking my hand out

"Sam," I smile finally able to put a name to the face.

"Nice to meet you, Sam," I say before licking my lips awkwardly "Odd request but my clothes were burnt off by a missile, do you by any chance have something I could wear? Maybe a shower I could use?" Sam tilted his head looking behind me before smiling at me nodding for me to follow him. I oblige as he takes me into a room with a bed. He opens a drew handing me a shirt and a pair of leggings.

"They belong to my sister, Sarah, I don't think she'll mind," I smile thanking him softly holding the clothes in my hand as he directed me to a bathroom. Natasha and Steve following as they also wanted to get cleaned up. I went first taking a quick shower trying to get all the dirt and soot from my blonde hair. I got out and dressed in clean clothes. The leggings were a tight fit but they would work for now. Natasha went next then Steve. I sat on the bed using the towel to dry my wet hair.

"You okay?" Steve asks Natasha who seemed deep in thought. "What's going on?"

"When I first joined SHIELD I thought I was going straight. But I guess I just traded the KGB for HYDRA. I thought I knew who's lies I was telling, but I guess I just can't tell the difference anymore," she says I place my hand on her shoulder looking at her.

"There's a chance you might be in the wrong business," Steve says causing Natasha and me to chuckle.

"I owe you," Natasha says looking between Steve and I. I shook my head as Steve told her it was okay. "If it was the other way around and it was up to me to save your lives and you be honest with me, would you trust me to do it," I nodded without hesitation

"What you have done, coming with us to find who killed Nick. But your life on the line for us proves we can trust you, Nat," I say she smiles shortly at that

"I would now," Steve says "and I'm always honest," I laugh at that as Natasha smiles at him

"Well you seem pretty chipper for someone who just found out they died for nothing," Natasha says changing to subject

"Well I guess I just like to know who I'm fighting," Steve says

"I made breakfast," we all look at Sam who is stood in the doorway, my eyes widen in excitement. "If you guys eat that sort of thing," I jump up excited for whatever food he's made. I hear quiet chuckling coming from behind me as I followed Sam to the kitchen.

"So the question is who at SHIELD could launch a domestic missile strike," Natasha says as I shove a fork full of eggs into my mouth.

"Pierce," I say as I swallowed

"Who happens to be sitting on top of the most secure building in the world,"

"But he's not working alone, Zola's algorithm was on the Lemurian Star," Steve says

"So was Jasper Sitwell,"

"So the real question is, how do the two most wanted people in Washington kidnap a SHIELD officer in broad daylight," Sam places a cup of coffee in front of me causing me to smile at him taking a sip of the drink.

"The answer is, you don't," Sam says putting the file he had in his other hand in front of us.

"What's this?"

"Call it a resume," I pick it up as Natasha looked at it over my shoulder

"Is the Bakhmala? The Khalid Khandil mission, that was you?"

"You didn't say he was a pararescue," I say looking at Steve who takes the file from me to look at it

"Is this Riley?" Sam says yes

"I heard they couldn't bring in the choppers because of the RPGs. What did you use, a stealth chute?"

"No. These," Sam says showing us another file that Steve opens

"I thought you said you were a pilot,"

"I never said pilot,"

"I can't ask you to do this, Sam. You got out for a good reason," Steve says

"Dude, Captain America needs my help. There's no better reason to get back in," Sam says causing me to smile

"Where can we get our hands on one of these things?"

"The last one is at Fort Meade, behind three guarded gates and a twelve-inch steel wall," Steve looks at me and Natasha and we both shrug

"Shouldn't be a problem," Nat says

"Can I finish eating first though?"
