"So wait, you're telling me my babysitter's a vampire?"
"Well, first of all, I'm technically not your babysitter."

SARAH ELLIOT likes to think she's a good person. Well, other than the blood-sucking and how she constantly has to kill animals (humans just feel... weird to kill.) But honestly, she's pretty genuine, unlike some people she's gotten used to knowing at Ilvermorny. However, now that she's moved into a small town in Scotland, she isn't allowed to attend the American school anymore, instead she's heading to Hogwarts for her sixth year. A fresh start at this new school with complete strangers, Sarah didn't think anything could go so wrong.
But, oh, how wrong she was. When she moves next door to the Weasley's, things become much trickier, especially when her parents decide she should babysit. And conveniently enough, Molly Weasley doesn't seem to trust her oldest son.
NOTES: - okay so this is obviously based off of my babysitter's a vampire & girl next door, the song/theme song of the show.
- so molly and arthur really want to go out sometimes, but because they have so many kids, they can't. but when they meet sarah and see how responsible she is, they hire her. (i sort-of think sarah wouldn't ask for much money.)
- maybe have a chapter or two set in the summer, when sarah is starting to move/babysit. however, I imagine this should also be set in hogwarts as well
- if it isn't obvious, sarah is a vampire. she chooses not to drink that much human blood unless it comes from a blood bank thing. she only drinks from animals, but i imagine her being super guilty about doing it.
- choose her house and preferably mention her house from ilvermorny ( i recommend ravenclaw or hufflepuff, but i can see her in any house really.)
- shes in percy's year and since it's set in cos, the basilisk is around. i think it'd be cool for vampire's not be killed by eye contact and that's how percy finds out. it'll take him a while, of course, but after researching he finds out.
- her and ginny are super close and you should show that especially when gin goes missing because of the basilisk. i think sarah would try to go find it on her own and maybe you could have it to where she helps harry
- percy still goes after penelope, but they do get together in prisoner of azkaban. ( sarah gets a bit jealous of him & penelope but doesn't know why and it's cute.)
- (or, she could talk to myrtle. they're both outcasted because of their state & i feel like sarah would talk to her. of course, this isn't necessary, but it would be cool. maybe she would piece things together slowly and help harry when him, ron, & lockhart show up.)
- don't forget the whole goblet of fire/ order of the phoenix thing with percy. when he joins to order and leaves his family, sarah would stay with him, but eventually she breaks up with him because she doesn't think he's acting like him anymore. you can choose when they get back together again. (if you want.)
