Tom's phone interrupted and he groaned but answered, "Hello?.... Mmm..... Really? That's amazing, I'm on my way right now!...."
Wow, really? Just gonna ditch my like that, huh, I burned inside.
"Z," Tom's eyes lit up, as he stood up. "Jacob's awake! The doctors said we could go see him!"
Oh, so selfish! Thinking Tom would ditch you... JACOB'S AWAKE THIS IS GREAT NEWS! I grinned.
"Maybe he could finally tell us who spiked his drink," Tom said as I stood up.
