Sitting on Phil's floor with a small bite mark on his neck was not how Dan intended his night to go at all. It had hurt, the bite mark, and Phil was sitting across from him with a bright smile on his face.

"That's what it feels like." He says, "did it feel good?"

Dan touches the side of his neck again feeling the small bite indentions. It had hurt for the most part, but then it felt good afterwards. "It hurt." Dan replies.

Phil smiles, "Well..."

A horn was honking continuously on a bright Thursday morning. Dan blinks rapidly as his hazy room came into focus. What time was it? Then there was loud knocking coming from all the way downstairs and a muffled voice followed it. "Dan!" it screamed, "get up we're late!"

"What?" Dan mumbles. He grabs his charging phone and takes the cord out of it. It was 8:00 sharp. "Oh shi-"

He rolls out of bed while the knocking on the door gets louder. "Its unlocked!" he screams over the noise. He strips out of his long wrinkled night shirt and searches for a clean one and some jeans in his drawer. He had just buttoned his pants when Phil came rushing into the room.

"Hey Dan- woah your shirt is off."

Dan puts his shirt over his body. "Well stop looking!"

Phil takes off his glasses and grins. "There, now I can't see you."

He huffs, but still turns around to throw the black shirt over his head, and then pushes into his black converse. "I don't know why my alarm didn't go off."

Phil puts on his glasses, "I've been out there since 7:30, did you go to sleep late?"

Dan just shakes his head as he pulls on his bookbag. "No, but for some reason I couldn't wake up."

"Were you thinking about my kiss? I bet you were."

Dan freezes and considers not going to school if Phil was going to keep this up all day. "Shut up Phil, or we're going to be really late."
He pushes past out the room and Phil smiles brightly in response.

Outside, Dan's hand touches the passenger door but then hesitates.
"You can get in," Phil says, "she doesn't feel like coming to school."

"Oh." Dan said getting in. "Is she sick or something?"

Phil shrugs as he starts up the car and starts driving. "You could say that."

The flowing from the vents soothes Dan's tense shoulders since he had forgotten his jacket at home. He checks the clock. 8:10. They were really late and that meant that everyone was going to stare when they came in.

Dan looks over to tell Phil this, but then he caught a glimpse of something covered by his shirt collar.

"Hey did something bite you?" Dan says, staring at it more.

"What?" Phil laughs, "no, why?"

"Well are you allergic to something because you have like a rash on your neck."

Phil goes red slightly as he brings a hand up to cover the spot. "No I don't."

Dan nods quickly and reaches up to push his hand out the way.
"Dan stop!" Phil says as he almost swerves into another car before they enter the school.

"I just want to show you where it is!" He succeeds in pushing away his hand and he pokes the red mark. "Right there."

Phil bats his hand away. They had finally parked. "Dan I know what it is okay, stop making it obvious."

"What do you mean? What is it?"

Phil stares at him blankly. "What?"

Dan ushers to it. "I mean what is it?"

Phil sighs loudly and then leans forward so his head hit the steering wheel. "Are you serious?"
Dan just nods.

"Okay Dan." Phil sits up. "you know what sex is right?"

Dan rolls his eyes. "Of course."

"Well I was just checking since you don't know about love marks."

Dan was so confused so he just stays quiet.
"Well, sex feels pretty good itself but, it feels really good when someone like sucks and bites on your neck too."

"Bites?" Dan's hand flew up automatically to his own neck, a forgotten dream was bubbling up to the surface.

"Yea it feels really good and well, my anniversary was yesterday so..... anyway I could show you how to do it after school if you want, no homo for me though," That's when he gets out the car.

Leaving Dan still touching his neck and looking shocked.
