Chapter 1

"Ash where are you ?" Called Jake.

Jake is Ashley's brother.

"I am waiting for Sarah." Called Ash

"What do you want for breakfast." Asked Jake

"Why, btw where is mom." Asked Ash

"She had an errand to run, so she will be back in the evening." Replied Jake

"Oh, will you prepare some honey waffle and bagels." Said Ash

"Anything for Sarah ?" Asked Jake

"Not sure about her, anyways make some flakes for her." Replied Ash

"Ok come down fast, we have to leave for school in about an hour." Yelled Jake

She came down in her nightdress.

"What aren't you ready yet." Asked Jake

"Because Sarah is still bathing." Replied Ash

"Use my bathroom." Suggested Jake

"Ok thanks."

"And yes I am preparing scrambled eggs for lunch." Said, Jake

"You are the best." Exclaimed Ash lovingly

After bathing, she went to her room upstairs where she saw Sarah getting ready. She told her the breakfast menu.

"Jake is so nice, he is just so protective." Said Sarah

"Yah I know that*giggles*. Do you like him?" Asked Ash

"Don't forget he is my brother too*grins*." Said Sarah

There is knock over the door.

"Girls your breakfast has been served on the table come down and have it. And ash I will be in my room packing my bag if you need something call me, ok!" Said Jake.

"Yeah sure." Replied Ash

He went to his room and checked his phone.

There was a message from anonymous

It read,

"Jake Welter, I have something for you. The package will have answers to the mystery you have trying to solve for a while. If you want it, come to the south park sharp at 8.15. I will be waiting for you near the fountain.

He just stared at his phone for a few seconds, and then switched it off and kept inside the bag.

He looked at the clock, it showed half passed 7. This means he had 45 minutes.

He resumed doing his work.

Sarah and Ashley ate their breakfasts and went to school.

He locked the house and started his way onto the park.

He didn't know what he has or who is he.

He reached the south park at about 8:10. He went and sat near the fountain. He looked around to notice any suspicious person but none to his notice. The park was crammed with people. Some people were playing others were just exercising. He looked at his watch it was exact 8.15.

When he turned around, he saw a package on the bench. It read his name.

Suddenly, he felt someone's hand over his shoulder, he turned around to look behind.

A tall, manly, well-built body.

"Hey, buddy." Called peter

Peter was Jake's classmate.

He immediately kept the package in the bag.

"What are you doing here ?" Asked Peter

"Just strolling in the park before class." Replied Jake

"Ok, btw if your strolling is over I remind you the class is about to start, so are you coming or not."

"Oh yeah, I was about to head in the direction of the school."

"So let's go."

He went to class with peter as they were just on time, as the gates were closing.

"Phew, we reached on time." Exclaimed Peter

"Now let's get to the class or else Mrs. Fletcher will kill us." Said Jake.
