I Want Candy-Chapter Eight

It was the week before Halloween and the band KISS were doing an interview on the Tom Snyder show.

I was at the grocery store because we needed some decorations and candy.

Paul had also asked me to hide the candy so that nobody could steal it.

"I want candy"...

Ace was singing outloud while having a glass of champague.

"Ace, I thought we made it clear that nobody in the band was allowed to drink any alcohol until after the interview".

Paul took the remaining bottle of champagne and put it away for later.

"Aww man, I'm so...(hiccup!) spaced out...

I was now back from the store.

"Alright"! 

Gene ran over to me and asked for a piece of candy.

"No candy until Halloween".

I told him.

He pouted and walked away.

Paul opened up all the candy bags and poured them into a bowl.

I put the bowl of candy on top of the refrigerator.

Right before we were about to leave, Ace had snuck inside for a treat.

I became suspicious of this and went inside to see what he was doing.

"ACE"! "YOU SPACED OUT SPACEMAN"!

Ace was in the bathroom eating out of the candy bowl.

"SHIIITTTTT"!

Our voices could be heard all the way outside.

I finally took the bowl of candy away from him and Ace went back to the limo.

I hid the candy in a different spot this time.

Tom Snyder was a kind soul.

He enjoyed laughing with Ace a lot.

After we all finished the interview, we went out to eat at a nearby restaurant.

"Eeew, that smells awful".

Peter pointed to a dish that had prunes on them.

"Don't say that outloud, Catman. It's rude and disrespectful".

I whispered back to avoid causing a scene.
