Those of you who are lazy and don't wanna read the details or what to do about wattpad knowing your location and crap here is a quick summary:
Wattpad now has a currency that you can pay to buy, hackers will be attracted to wattpad now and be more likely to hack you. Hackers can also know and find your location if you're on wattpad, this can have multiple effects on you because they can find your home and mess up your life.

you can now collect coins... how though!? If you click to see how your coins empower people.... you can't even get any for one.
It talks about how do get some (through buying) but it doesn't say where to buy them from.
God I hope wattpad makes the coins OPTIONAL! For readers AND writers.
Some writers like me wish to stay anonymous on the internet but still read and publish books online for others.... if coins are necessary to view books we will stop going on wattpad. These kinds of people are the: Casual people
And won't buy the coins.
Hackers are more likely to come over to wattpad now because there is now money involved. Hackers before had no real reason to hack wattpaders because they wouldn't really gain anything except maybe a laugh and feeling of accomplishment from hacking us. NOW they have more reasons, people will likely attach credit cards or bank accounts to wattpad in order to buy coins... so if they hack you now they'll be able to get money from it.
Scammers and other *ahem*BAD people will now come with it because wattpad can know your locationso hackers can find you and mess up your life more.Even if you turn that aspect off, it knows when you have 'arrived at home'

even if this location problem is only on mobile many wattpad users are on mobile, all my friends who have wattpad use it on their phone for the most part. Again this can be fixed by deleting and re-downloading the app but eventually it reconnects and marks your 'home' in its data and it gets tiresome to do this...
But if you're on mobile I advise you to delete and reinstall the app.Be safe!
This same problem happens on many computers too, when I log in on computer it's kinda hard to tell but it does know my location because in the top right location services comes on when I go on the wattpad website. I sadly can not show you evidence because I don't know how to take screenshots on laptops and taking a photo with my phone would have left a glare so you couldn't even see it. It may only be on some laptops but PLEASE stay aware of this and try (possibly by turning location services off all together or marking your location as in Australia) to make it harder for people to find you!!
I personally believe that having coins was a bad choice and I wouldn't have implemented them but that isn't my decision to make.
But please tell others to be aware of this matter

I wish we could boycott but 2 billion plus people will not all be able to agree and won't give a heck and that's too many people to type or write to to ask them to boycott. If you wish too I support that decision and hope you tell your followers to do the same, even spam wattpad to stop if you wanna really spread the word.
