Wattpad Comments Change + update(same story)

The format of comments changed yes. They altered it to include Memories differently. The App Store (at least for IPhone IOS) has a new update for wattpad too.

First will be about the update, how many updates it's been since they said something new. That thing.
Second is the change to comments, what it looks like, and so on.

Anyway let's begin.

We all live in different time zones and if someone really cared to try they could look at what time the screenshot said on the top of my screen and the fact that the update was 22 hours ago to find out what time zone I'm in. So I cropped it.

Today on October 23 I decided to check the AppStore. Lo and behold Wattpad says it has a new update.

It says it added Dark Mode.

Like it's been saying for every update over the past 5+ months

And that's as far as I can scroll back in version history!!
We have gone from version 8.65.0 all the way to 8.87.0 and every single one has said the same exact thing. Hm what is 87-65... Oh 22.

It's been 22+ updates of the SAME EXACT THING.

I even looked into a previous chapter in this book and guess what!?

It's actually been 23 updates of the SAME EXACT THING.

THERE IS NOTHING IN THE UPDATES ABOUT:
• Taking away the newsfeed.
• Adding memories.
• Fixing bugs, errors, or glitches of any kind.
• Changing how commenting works.*

*they did change how commenting works because now it has a O with a + on the right the whole time for some users. (And I haven't clicked to update the app even)

COMMENTS CHANGE

This is at the basics what it happens to look like. Doesn't matter the mode. It has the O+ thing there. So if you're scrolling on mobile you may now accidentally hit it and fuck up.
Right handed people usually scroll using a finger on their right hand and most people are right handed, so chances are you are most likely clicking on the right side of the screen in order to scroll.
Clearly the wattpad team does not care about its readers since there is a O+ on every paragraph on the right side right where most people tap to scroll. It's annoying, and people like me keep hitting it on accident.

This is what it pops up as. Now instead of pulling up all the way to the top with all the comments on that paragraph listed in oldest to newest order it has Save memory then comment. If you hit comment THEN it pulls up to the fashion it used to pull up in (except it still says save memory on the top).

We don't need to have to tap 3 times to get to what we need. We were fine with the one tap to open it then the second tap to type. It's just one extra unnecessary step. The coding for the extra step takes up space, space and lack of space is exactly the reason given for taking away the Newsfeed. It's dumb. Both the first and second serve the same function and do the same thing. The only difference is that the first one leads to the second one, and the second one lets you see the full comments.
It's a dumb change made purely so that Memories pops up more. I see no other reason to have this change with the extra tab opening and the extra symbols.
