Hold!
Silence!
Listen,
For the trains speak.
They yell in ominous tones,
As the two lay next to each other.

The tension builds.
But they are quiet.
The rain and the rails sing,
Creating rhythm and mood.
They listen as they stare.
They long for each other,
Throbbing pain,
Rhythmic sound,
It all becomes too much to take,
As the train draws closer to the apartment,
So does one draw closer to the curtains.
The tension builds,
So much so,
That they throw themselves
At each other
In a barbaric, selfish and possessive way
As they allow their smothered feelings
Breath
They love and lust.
They push and pull at and into,
One another
As the tracks cover their sound
And they stop

The train pulls away
It's horn sounding ominously
As they realize they need
To make a choice
Their hearts beat as they listen
They wait,
Not parting,
For as long as possible.

They pull apart and smile,
As another train heads their way.
