Him

She met him and he was quiet but sweet.
He made her laugh and nurtured her self-esteem.
He wanted to be with her but she had concerns.
He was cynical as she was and she didn't want to ruin friendships.
He changed, but she moved on, still wanting to be friends with him.

She met someone else cute and kind.
He was funny, but she couldn't get close enough to him.
She couldn't understand her feelings, she moved on.

Someone popped up in her life.
He probably thought she was crazy.
She stared at him not understanding where he came from.
He told her.
He was handsome and funny and good.
But she didn't share his religious beliefs.
She can't move on. Not yet. She doesn't know why.
She doesn't know what she wants from him,
But she knows she needs to be closer to him.
If she gets to close she knows she'll get burned.

All these 'he's' in her life have made an impression on her.
They don't even know it.
