Lone
Tear
Is strong
On its own
It's a tiny reminder
That someone is human
That someone feels hurt or alone
No one knows why a tear is so powerful
We only know that it has been powerful
Since the start, tears have made change
In this world of pity, pain, and sorrow
A tear is the shout that turns tables
It draws attention to suffering
It is the signal.
Something is going downhill fast.
