Sam's POV
"She is going to be alright," the man said
We all took a sigh of relief. Abby was going to be fine.
"When can we take her home?" I asked him.
"You can take her home tomorrow," He said
"Thank you," I said
"You can visit her now," the man said
"Okay thank you," Kat said
We all followed him into Abby's room. We opened the door and went inside. She was sleeping. She had a thin cast on her leg. Kat went over and kissed the top of her head.
"Where am I? Abby said as she woke up
"You're in the hospital Abby," I told her
"Oh, Okay," she said
"How do you feel?" I asked her
"I feel okay" she replied
"That's good," I said back
We all talked for hours and hours. We laughed a lot as well. We were there until visiting hours were over. We said goodbye and left. Kat and I were in the car. I looked over and I could tell she was worried.
"She is going to be fine. We can take her home tomorrow. She is a very strong little girl." I told her
"I know, it's just," she said
"Just spit it out," I told her
"Abby is our first child and we're super protective of her. And we as parent kinda failed to protect her." She said.
"Kat... We didn't fail. we would have failed if we didn't do anything for her. that's not what we did through. We do protect her." I told her
"Okay." She said.
When we got home we were exhausted. We watched a movie and then went to sleep.
