Abby's POV
I overheard what my parents were talking about last night. I couldn't believe it. I was moving again. I thought I had found a family that would love me but no, now I was moving halfway across the country. I guess I can't trust anybody anymore. Well, now I have to go to being mute again. I couldn't stop thinking about it. It broke me inside. I was sitting outside there door this whole time. I couldn't hold it in so I let out my tears.
Sam's POV
As Kat and I got talking more about how to tell Abby that she was going to be moving all the way across the country we heard crying from outside the door. We opened the door to see Abby on the floor crying. We tried to talk to Abby but she wouldn't talk. She got up went to her room and grabbed her mini-whiteboard. The same one she used when she was mute. I leaned over and whispered to Kat
"She has her board"
She looked at me and then at Abby
"What's wrong," She asked
"I thought I could trust you. I thought I have finally found a family to love me, someone who cars for me. But I was wrong, I heard you talking about moving me all the way across the country."
I looked at Katrina after reading the board. Then I looked at Abby
"We aren't moving you, We're all moving. together. Colby too. In a few months, we all have to move out of this house because of our lease." I said
"Your dad is right, and we would never ever, do that to you. We love you. You are our daughter, nothing less. Forever." Kat said to her as well.
She dropped her whiteboard and hugged us tightly. She started sobbing lightly
"I love you," She said, her voice still muffled
"We love you too"
