"It was Alexis. She cheated on me, she rubbed it in my face and then she wanted a second chance. She snuck into the house last night and tried to make me her boyfriend. She then duct taped my mouth and, and punched me. She basically jumped me but didn't steal anything She then left me and told me that I was worthless. I was just... She said..."
"What did she, say Colby?" I asked
"I shouldn't be alive anymore. And for some reason, I believed her. I believed her Sam! So that's why I'm in here."
"Oh my god, Colby, for god's sake. Why would you believe her? You are not anything she said. You are perfect. You are my best friend. If you were any of those things, why would I have chosen you to be Abby's uncle? Don't believe her."
"Okay, Sam."
"Come on, let's get you cleaned up," I told him
I cleaned his wounds and I told him to go to bed. I walked back into my room and Katrina was up. She was calmly stroking Abby's hair. I jerked my head to get her out of bed and talk to her. I talked to her about Colby. Abby was officially awake now so I made the suggestion to go to the beach. We thought it was a good idea so we went to the beach.
