So Rebecca Hanson is a really lucky person. Honestly, so is Felicia Day. Rebecca voices Gypsy and plays asSynthia (Pearl Forrester's clone), and Felicia plays as Kinga Forrester. You might be asking, "Why are they so lucky?" well, lemme tell ya.
Rebecca and her husband met Joel at the 25th anniversary of MST3K live show thingy. They became friends and stayed in contact. A little bit later, Joel called Rebecca and her husband, asking them if they wanted to be writers and cast members of the show. That's pretty great if you ask me, like wow. Felicia met Joel at a comic-con type convention. Although she too was a fan, her older brother was obsessed with MST3K. She wanted a picture with Joel so she could rub it in her brother's face, and that's when Joel realized something. That's pretty much how Felicia got cast as Kinga, wow.
There's also Patton Oswalt, who play TV's Son of TV's Frank, aka Max. If you didn't know this, Patton is actually a successful actor I guess you could say. He actually voiced Remy the rat from Ratatouille, and he has been in several other popular movies and shows. Joel emailed him about MST3K, and that's how he got the job.
All these people are so lucky and I'm over here like "Wow, I need to go to comic-con or somethi-- AAAAHHHH WE'VE GOT MOVIE SIGN!!!!!!!!!!
