"SO this is the Edge? Not bad." I mused as we walked inside the "clubhouse" like thing.

"Not bad? NOT BAD! This is the most awesome, cool, uh cool, um awesome did I say that already?" Tuffnut whispered to Ruffnut and I face palmed.

"Am I safe here?" I asked carefully and scanned their faces. Hiccup sensed my distrust and inched forward until he was a reassuring distance away.

"Yes." I relaxed and reached up, taking off my hood and letting my face finally be shown.

"Who are you?" Hiccup asked me breathlessly, eyes scanning my face as if drinking me in. Under his stare my cheeks started to heat up but I coughed and shook it off my face.

"I am Star Tracker. That is my dragon, Opal." I answered and Opal nudged my hand happily. I glanced at them and found their eyes on me, still silent.

"Is, everything okay? You guys seem a little.... off." I shifted uncomfortably and stepped back.

"You look like her. The girl in the tapestry, the one in the great hall." Astrid finally spoke and stepped forward, narrowing her eyes. I gulped and laughed a little nervously.

"O-Oh, you're from Berk. I forgot... um yeah ha ha. Could you take me to see that tapestry sometime, maybe now? Now is good." I rushed out. My eyes were wide in panic and I shook slightly. I'm afraid of being killed, or at least tried to be killed.

"Sure......... but you better explain." Astrid glared at me and I scowled right back. I didn't need to explain jack shit to anyone.

"I think it would be better for trust Star if you at least explain some things." I nodded begrudgingly at Opal's words and mounted her.

"Let's go to Berk and see the tapestry."

TIME SKIP

"So, where is this tapestry that you told me about?" I asked through my hood and Hiccup led me to a giant building in the middle of the town. The riders had been unnaturally quiet this entire time and I was starting to get nervous.

Going in we went to the very back of the room where many paintings were on the wall. We started on the far side where a young woman with long white hair was offering herself as a prisoner to another larger man. The next picture depicted her standing in front of the man and his wife, like a daughter instead of a prisoner. I took off my hood and touched the painting longingly.

"That is me. That's the first chief and his wife, Melinsa. I became their adoptive daughter in exchange for peace between dragons and the tribe. But once they died and their son took over.... he chased me and Opal out and returned hate for dragons by framing Opal. I loved him too. I almost became the chieftess by marrying him, but the truth was he just wanted to kill me and Opal." I spat bitterly and turned around. Opal licked my face in reassurance while I looked at the riders in hope.

"I'm guessing I was made out to be a devil, and now that you've seen me, almost 400 years later, you probably think I'm a devil spawn. It's the opposite I promise. I'm immortal, I'll explain later but you must believe me." I made eye contact with each one of them.

"Why? Why should we believe you? What have you done to ensure us that you're trustworthy?!" Astrid advanced but I held my ground.

"I saved your asses more than once, I blew up at you guys in the past because you were fighting a dragon, I let you stay at my place, and I revealed to you my identity which I do not do lightly." Her and I were nose to nose, her glare was fierce but when I glared back a flash of fear made her step back.

"Now, can we go back to the Edge? I didn't get to completely see it and I wish too." Snotlout smirked and wrapped and arm around my waist.

"Well babe, if you don't have a place to stay you can always come to my hut." He smirked and I unwrapped his arms from around my waist and faked throwing up.

"Ew, gods. Excuse me, I think I just threw up in my mouth a little." I thought I saw an angry look on Hiccups face but was distracted by Astrid, ASTRID, snorting at his offended face. When I looked back Hiccup was smirking with the rest of the group.

"I like you." Heather stated walking alongside me as we exited, only to be met by a big man with red hair.

"Hey dad. What's, what's going on?" Hiccup look at his father who looked pretty stressed out.

"Dragon hunters have surrounded the island. There are too many of them, except they aren't attacking... yet." I frowned and glanced at Opal.

"There here for Opal and I. I should not have revealed myself as one who speaks in the dragon tongue and Opal as another night fury. Now they'll do anything to capture us, plus Toothless and the dragon riders. It's all too good for them, were all here together we need to leave Berk!" I stood straighter and mounted Opal.

"We could go to the nearest outpost. There isn't one far from here remember?" Opal suggested and I agreed with her.

"Once we leave the dragon hunter will leave too. Guys get on your dragons and follow me, I have a plan."
