"And this is my room," Will Byers smiled as he was giving Max a tour of his house,
"It's nice," Max walked over to his dresser
"Did you draw this?" She picked up a drawing of a big superhero looking guy "Yeah, I like art."
Will giggled as they left his room and walked into the living room, Dustin and Lucas were sitting on the couch where Will walked to, Elle and Mike were sitting on an armchair so Max decided to sit on a little cushioned bench with a smile

"So Will? What's the game for today?" Elle asked
" 'Is it true that?' You ask someone something and they have to answer truthfully." He smiled
"I'll go first," Mike said with a grin, "Okay"
"Dustin, is it true that you stole all the pudding from the cafeteria in the fourth grade?"
Dustin chuckled, "Yeah that's true."
Max giggled thinking about it, Dustin turned to Elle with a sweet grin "I choose Elle,"
"Elle, is it true that you cut off Madison Greens ponytail last year?" Dustin asked
"Yes, and i don't wanna talk about it. Now, Willy boy, is it true that you're still afraid of the dark?"
"Yes.." Will sighed, Elle grinned "That's sad."
She chuckled, Will looked down and stood up
"I'm gonna go get a snack," He walked off
"Will, wait!" Max followed behind him

"Really babe?" Mike turned to Elle, disappointed
"It's all just for fun!" Elle kissed his cheek, he nodded while Will and Max walked back in.
"How about we watch a movie?" The redhead suggested, Lucas nodded "Yeah, that'll be fun."
"We should watch something scary," Mike suggested with a mischievous grin
"How about 'Don't Breathe'?" Dustin said
"Sure, I'll put it on!" Will smiled sweetly grabbing the remote and putting on the movie. As it begun and everyone focused, Mike looked over at Max, observing her face. He carefully counted the freckles on her cheeks and smiled. Max looked away from the screen, over to Mike, he quickly looked away to the television,

As the movie came to an end a car pulled up in front of the Byers house, it was Mrs Sinclair.
Lucas sighed and stood up, Dustin as well
"See you guys tomorrow," He smiled
"Bye guys!" Will called out happily, Max pulled out her phone texting Billy to see where he was, as she did Hopper pulled up in his truck
"See you tomorrow baby," Elle kissed Mike, Will rolled his eyes as she walked out the door,
"I gotta do these dishes before my mom
gets home," The brown haired boy laughed as he picked up plates bringing them to the kitchen

"Your brother picking you up?" Mike asked
"What do you care.." Max put her phone down
"I'm not just gonna be your friend after you treat me like shit," The redhead rolled her eyes
"M-Max I.." Mike shook his head as he began to think about apologizing to the girl
"Never said I wanted to be your friend."
"Okay yeah, you just live In your little world obsessed with your bitchy girlfriend and leave the rest of us out of it," Max snapped, Mike, couldn't think of what to say back, it was true.
The older boy grabbed his bag and stormed out, Max felt guilt pile up in her stomach,
"Mike wait!" She ran out the door after him, it was pouring rain and she could barley see, but the determined girl followed Mikes silhouette into the night, not realizing she was running deep into the dark forest, with no service.
