Two weeks later...

When the last time you seen her bro?," My brother asked

My brother David and I played 2K while my sister and sister-in-law were out shopping. It's been two weeks since I actually seen Keisha I been looking at her Instagram but that ain't enough for me.

Man she just need to gone and come back to the east side." He smirked

As we played the game David's phone beeped.

Shit. Husband duties, catch ya later man."David walked out

Well that's enough of that. Dave goes upstairs to see his daughter Harmony playing tea party.

Daddy can you play tea party with me?," She asked

Not right now bean daddy's got work to do,"I replied

Harmony began to pout. Dave went and picked her head up.

What's wrong?,"He asked

I want a new mommy to play tea party with,"Harmony sighed

Harmony's mother and I broke up around her first birthday, after that her mother started using again and I lost contact with her. I've been looking for her ever since but i can't let my daughter grow up with a mother like that.

I know bean. Tell you what how about I invite Dr. Washington to the movies to see beauty and the beast and then we can have dinner."He smiled

Yay!!! Can I wear my princess clothes daddy?."Harmony yelled

Yes baby wear your princess clothes," He laughed watching her run to her dresser

I snuck off to my room to text Keisha I was hoping she would say yes. But when I got nervous I called her

"Keisha please? Bean misses you and she just wants to see beauty and the beast with someone. Okay well tell your boss something came up. Yes I promise a one time thing. Thanks Keish!"

Dave got ready and met Keisha at a restaurant downtown.

When I seen her walk up my heart dropped out of my ass at how amazing she looked.

"Girl yes he is just as fine as he was back then. Hold on someone calling." Keisha talked with her friend

"Dave, no. But why? I got somethings I need to do for my boss. Fine but this is just a one time thing. Alright, Dave".

Keisha got up and started getting ready. After  20 minutes I was dressed and on my way to the movies to meet Dave and his daughter.

Hey Jujube." Harmony ran to me

Ms. Keisha.," She jumped in her arms Daddy doesn't Ms. Keisha dress up nicely," Harmony smiles

Wow Keish. You look amazing. I mean yeah she does clean up nicely," Dave blushes

Thanks. you don't look bad yourself," I blushed

Daddy come here," His daughter tugged his arm

Whats up baby?,"He got down at eye level

Harmony put her small hand on his forehead before touching his face all over with her two tiny hands. The gesture confused him but he let her do it.

Daddy I thought you said you got the hots for Ms. Keisha? You feel cold to me,"Harmony asked

The look on Dave's face read embarrassed. But I thought it was cute. She was so innocent and a very outspoken little girl for a five year old. Dave got our tickets even though I could've paid for myself he insisted.

We watched the movie and went to eat at Outback.

Ms. Keisha isn't my daddy a nice man?," Harmony asked

Why yes he is a nice man," I chuckle and cupped his chin while rubbing his chin hair

The gesture made Harmony laugh. As we talked our food arrived which cut the conversation short.

I know the night is young but I have to work a double tomorrow." Keisha said

Why you working so much?," Dave asked me

I make six figures but paying back student loans aren't easy. I hate that bitch sally." We laughed

I can help with that," Harmony reaches into her princess purse

Harmony hands me a dollar and thirty eight cents. Will that cover it?," She asked innocently

Bean she's gonna—-

YES! It will cover the balance thank you," She cut Dave off

Dave took me home and I slid Harmony's money back to him. When I got in I was tired as hell and had a option of napping and showering or showering and hibernating. Of course I showered first and within 10 minutes I was out for the count.

Come on Bean it's bed time. Cut that TV off," I said to my baby

No goodnight talk?," She pouted

Of course." Dave said sitting in the small chair

I like Ms. Keisha." Harmony smiled

I do too baby. Daddy and Ms. Keisha used to be in love," He blushes

Really?! Did you cheat daddy?," Harmony asked

Now why you gotta play ya father like that bean?," we laughed; No daddy didn't cheat Ms. Keisha went to school and we just couldn't love each other being so far-away," I said

Will you stop loving me if I go far away? is that why you stopped loving mommy?." She asked

No bean I'll always love you no matter where you are and I'll always love your mother but she has to get better first before she can see you," He sighed

Daddy?." Harmony called

Yes?," I said

I think Ms. Keisha would be the perfect mommy," Harmony yawned and rolled over

Dave was stunned he couldn't help but let the words his daughter just spoke to him replay in his mind. It was no doubt he still loved Keisha but he just didn't know if she loved him back or if he was even ready to commit.

Good night bean." I kissed her forehead and walked out
