Charlie's P.O.V.

"Uhh... Hey." Chase said. He looked as if he wanted to barf. Am I that repulsive?

"Soo, what's your name?" Mall guy said, saving me from the akwardness that ensued upon us. His eyes were travelling all over me, assesing me with his eyes and finally resting upon my dull green eyes. He looked as if he was searching my eyes for something. Something that I have no clue of.

I suddenly heard a low menacing growl from beside me making me jolt in surprise and saw Chase glaring at the Mall guy. I was baffled that Chase was not only capable of making such an animalistic sound but also because there wasn't a reason as to him producing it.

"Cough- Akward...- Cough, cough." A not so convincing cough was heard from beside me. I rolled my eyes at her blatantness.  I looked at her annoyingly and she just raised her arms in mock surrender.I decided to just ignore her and just continued as if she doesn't exist.

"Charlie Penelophe Flinn." I smiled up at him, ignoring the butterflies that swarmed my stomache as I thought that maybe Chase was jealous but quickly dismissed the idea.

I just continued to stare at the Mall guy. He really is handsome. His black hair seemed so soft and his grey eyes looked at me with such intensity that had my knee's buckling.

"I'm Reese Devon Kurtis Oakley. Nice to meet you, Charlie." He smiled at me. Within minutes of meeting him, his smile already made me swoon. He really could kill with those looks. Girls anyway.

"Wow, long name. What are you, like a royalty or something?" Emily snorted. I can't help but chuckle at her unlady-ness. Emily is always going to be Emily.

"No, but that was just plain rude. Who are you anyway?" Reese asked Emily looking annoyed. Emily glared at him and tilted her chin up.

"For your information, the girl you were gawking at was my bestfriend, and I'm her bestest, beautifullest, most amazing bff, Emily." She puffed up her chest proudly and glared at him. She stared him down so maliciously, I was scared she'll hurt him if he said something to make her lose her humanity.

"I-" Reese started but was cut off by the bell ringing loudly, reminding us that it was already time for our first subject. Reese made a grunt of annoyance at being interrupted but said his goodbyes to us anyway and started off towards his first subject. Well, he said goodbye to me, did the man-hug with Chase and glared at Emily, to which Emily just smirked victoriously at.

I was slightly shocked that he knew this school. I had thought he was a new student. My eyes followed Reese's retreating back and stared in curiosity until his form disappeared. I guess Chase saw that I was staring and answered my questioning gaze and curious mind, surprising me.

"He went here before but left during our sophomore year and came back." He told me simply, his jaw locked in place and then he nodded stiffly to us in goodbye and walked off. I felt a tug on my sleeves and saw Emily pulling me towards our first class. I just followed her unconsciously, thinking of both Chase and Reese.

"Alright class, Surpri-" A knock on the door interrupted Ms. Anderson, making her look at it with a glare. What is with people and interrupting?

We were currently at our third period for the day; English. We started about twenty minutes ago when this person, without being born with either a brain or maybe a bit of punctuality, disrupted the class. Thank god, I can eat after this. I'm starved.

Ms. Anderson tapped her foot impatiently as she waited for the interrupter to show their face. A mop of black hair popped in, smiling at Ms. Anderson apologetically. It was Reese.

"Yes,Mr. Oakley? What is your oh-so-amazeball reason for being late?" Ms. Anderson asked Reese, raising her eyebrow. I stiffled a laugh at the face Reese made at Ms. Anderson's choice of words. Guess he wasn't expecting it. 

"I'm really sorry Ms. Anderson. I just got lost." Reese said, smiling at Ms. Anderson apologetically. She just sighed and ushered him inside.

Reese's eyes wandered around the room, stopping on me. His eyes twinkled with joy and a huge smile graced his lips. I also felt a smile grow onto my face and saw him make movement in sitting next to me but was stopped short by Em's glare. He looked longingly at me then proceeded to sit two rows away from me, all while glaring at Em.

"#Akward..." I heard Emily say in an annoying voice she imitated from Tiffany. I looked at her wierdly as if asking but she just shrugged then ignored me.

What I didn't know was at the back of the classroom, another was glaring straight at Reese. Someone by the name of Chase.

Hey  guys! Before anything, I just want to apologize for being gone for so long! I had to stop using Wattpad for awhile to review for our college entrance exams. It was really hard. Like shit hard. So please pray for me!
