Noah?" her sweet voice called my name and I opened one eye slowly to look up at her, her hand was softly placed on my shoulder to wake me up. I was trying to get some sleep because I had stayed up all night for a test.

I didn't want to sleep and waste my time with her but I couldn't really help it. She was the one offering to let me sleep on her lap, she noticed how tired I looked. I must've probably slept for an hour or something before she woke me up.

"Liv...? " I replied waiting for her response. She frowned biting her lip, like she wasn't sure about telling me. I kept my eyes in her distracted face untill she cleared her throat.

She was looking down at me because I was laying on her lap and had inevitably fallen asleep, her blue eyes blinked twice while she was looking at my eyes.

"I am a girl, right?" she asked and I let out a chuckle raising an eyebrow. She was unpredictable and I loved her expontaneous comments, she was precious to me.

"I don't know, we'd have to get in the bathroom for me to confirm that" I joked and she blushed shaking her head quickly, I shook my head laughing "it's a joke, Liv... Yes, you are a girl" I explain and she nods slowly, I kept trying to throw jokes at her and she was even starting to get some of them. She doesn't say anything for awhile.

"and, am I your friend?" she asked tilting her head to her side and frowning. I sat up from the grass and turned around to look at her, I frowned trying to understand why would she ask that. Was she insecure about our friendship?

"yes, Liv, we are friends, what's wrong?" I ask concerned, why would she think we weren't friends, As I'm sitting in front of her, I reach for her hand and she lets me hold it, I smile to the floor happy that she's allowing me to do that and then look up at her. She looks incredibly pretty today.

"Am I your girlfriend?"
