-Harry-

During our free period, Ron and I decided to visit Professor Dumbledore, and discuss with him the new exchange students.

I said the password to Dumbledore's office which happened to be Olympus, for some reason.

Ron knocked on the door, and we heard a loud, "Come in!" from inside the room.

"Hello, Professor," I began, "I was wondering if we could speak with you about the new exchange students? They're a little off to me, and I don't think they can be trusted." I stated honestly.

"Harry, I can assure you, we can trust them. I have many reasons of doing so, but I cannot share them with you. I'm sorry. And it would do you well to stop following them and trying to figure them out, am I clear?" Dumbledore replied, as his eyes twinkled like they do when he knew something you don't.

"But sir--" Ron began.

"No buts, off you two go!" He gestured toward the door.

I was so confused! After everything, even Dumbledore sided with the exchange students!

Ron and I walked back to the common room and sat down in an armchair, obviously thinking about them.

When I realized something, that Nico kid, I had seen apparate the other day. I thought it was just him backing into a corner, but now that I think about it, he seemed to melt into the shadows, and when I turned around, he was gone!

I had to tell Dumbledore this! Then he would believe me!

I told Ron I'd be right back, and I quickly arrived at Dumbledore's office again.

As I was about to knock, I heard voices inside. It seemed to be the voices of the exchange students with Dumbledore!

"But Albus! We are on a strict no-tell policy for this quest!" Thalia (I think) said impatiently.

"Yes dear, I know. But we need to tell them sooner than later, because some have already come asking questions! Harry Potter has been one of them, and he always seems to find out the truth." Dumbledore calmly replied.

"Well Harry is annoying, and he keeps asking us questions like 'How many dark wizards have you defeated?' and that's pretty stupid, but if he asked questions like 'How many Ancient Greek monsters have you kil--" Percy was interrupted by Nico.

"This conversation is not private anymore, I sense a presence outside the door, eavesdropping." Nico said.

How did he know I was there?

"Who is it Nico? If it's that Harry Potter guy again I swear to the gods--" Annabeth said menacingly.

"Yup, it's him." Nico interrupted again.

"Great." Thalia said with loads of sarcasm.

"We will continue this conversation later, I hope you enjoy your stay at Hogwarts." Dumbledore said.

"We are, and thank you so much, Albus." Annabeth replied graciously.

The new students exited the room, and to my surprise Malfoy, Luna, and Hermione were with them. I didn't hear them talk before, and they looked at me with disgust, I'd never seen Hermione and Luna look at me like that, but from Malfoy, that's a completely normal thing for him to do.

They left the room, and I entered the office.

"Professor, I would like to report something unusual that I saw Nico do--" I began.

"For the love of Zeus, just stop researching them!" Dumbledore said annoyed.

I faltered, since when does Dumbledore get annoyed with me?

"They have been through so much, even more than you, so quit trying to discover what should be left to them to tell you!" He continued, "Now off to your next class!"

I left Dumbledore's office feeling a little discouraged, and a lot annoyed.

Like they have been through more than I have! Just abused, that's it! Not watching many of their friends get killed on a battlefield while trying to stop an enemy they had been forced to fight because of a prophecy and being the only one who can destroy them!

I'm just going to ask them. Maybe that will help at all. I'm desperate for answers!
