Today was the day. The new cabin leader was being annouced and I could see the tension that filled the air. Campers shifted uncomfortably in their seat, even the Yogs were visibly nervous. I cleared my throat, all eye turned to me. I sighed.
"As you all know, we have a new cabin leader today!" I said, making my voice clear.
"I hope you help them run their cabin smoothly and that you're respectful of their wishes."
The mumering started up again, Lena and Ryan looking most worried about their positions. Crystal looked fairly threatening and everyone looked either nervous or curious. The Yogscast looked at me and Lewis seemed to be trying to calm Lena down through eye contact, it wasn't working. I clapped my hands together and the hall fell silent again. Once more, their attention turned to me.
"I know that you're all worried. But please, don't panic. I would like to introduce you to the newest cabin leader, Alice!" I said making everyone stare at me in surprise. A quiet cough filled the sudden silence and everyone turned towards the door....
