" I'll see you at school then " Shawn says

" Yeah sure . " I tell him with a smile .

" It was really nice having you here honey " shawns mom tells me with a beautiful smile covering her face .

" I loved your company too mrs. Mendes . It was really nice meeting you " I tell her

" Really sweety . Your are very nice . I loved having you here honey " she tells me again .

" Mom . Let it be now . It's already dark. Let her go " Shawn interrupts.  I can tell he is quite irritated with his mom's sweetness . I laugh at it a little . Basically unnoticeable one .

" Shawn you can drop her off then. You're right , it's dark . Go drop her " she tells him

" Oh no.  It's fine I'll go by myself . It was really nice meeting you though " I interrupt quickly .

" She's right actually ...." Before Shawn could go further I cut off

" Oh no seriously . I'll go by myself.  Really thanks for doing it but I'll go by myself " I tell them taking a step back but Shawns mom held my hand

" Shawn either you drop her or I will " his command

" No really . Please I'll go by myself. " I tell her

"Mom leave her .. I'm dropping her . Now leave her hand "  Shawn argues .

" Shawn please no I'll go by myself . " I tell him

" I swear if you say that once again , I will lock you inside " Shawn's mom threatens me . I laugh and give up .

" Fine. I'll let him drop me . Now let me go please " I tell her

" No you'll run " mrs. Mendes argued . I laughed at it hard

" Okay " I give in .
Shawn starts the car and I sit in .

" Bye honey " Shawn's mom yell

" Bye mrs. Mendes " I wave at her

" Call me Karen " she yells again

" Sure . Bye Karen " I yell and Shawn drives ahead .

" I'm sorry about my mom . Shes way cheesy " Shawn apologize with a smile

" No it's really fine . Shes sweet actually " I laugh and Shawn gives in too .
After 15 minutes he pulled in my driveway .

" I'll see you at school then " i tell Shawn .

" Yeah sure  . Bye " he waves at me and I does the same and he pulled away .

I unlocked the door and found the house empty . My parents haven't came home yet . Late from work as usual . I went upstairs and put myself to sleep .

Next - day

" My mom is literally obsessing over you " Shawn tells me laughing . I laugh along

" You better tell her I'm gonna crash over any time " I tell him laughing. 

Just as I approached the turn with shawn I stepped on someone's shoe  .

" I'm so sorry " I said and looked up to see who it was.

" Watch your step idiot " brad said annoyed .

" What the hell man, she just stepped besides she said sorry " Shawn quickly defended me . Brad was as shocked as I was .

" Shawn don't . Let's go " I tell Shawn

" Mind your own business " brad threaten Shawn . Why the hell is he doing it. 

" Come on Shawn " I quickly pull Shawn along with me . I was happy that Shawn was so quick to defend me . I felt happy and i guess I blushed at that thought and Shawn noticed me. 

" What are you smiling at ? " He asked me

" Nothing " I tell him with a smile .

" Come on you know you can tell me " he insists

" It's just that you were so quick to defend me , I liked it . " I tell him and he blushes . God he's so cute .

" Thanks " he replied blushing . 

" My mom was actually wanting you to have dinner with us this Saturday . Would you come ?" He asked sweetly

" What  ! Really ? " I was surprised .

" Yeah and we would love to have you over "he tells me . He was so happy that I could not refuse.

" Sure . " I agreed on it. 

" I can't wait to have you over on Saturday " he smiles

" Me too , I mean I would love to be there " I tell him smiling .
