[Chap 30] Marry Me?

Tannar had no pulse. What is this? How? And who? I hear a gun click behind me. I turn around and see. Lannan? He's pointing a gun at me. What the hell is he doing?
"Babe, what the bloody hell are you doing?" I ask
"I'm so sorry babe, but you are a danger to my family. Tannar has died because of you." Lannan say emotionless
"Danger... I fucking knew it. I should never have told you. I'm so stupid!" I shout for myself
"And you can't run around here. Alive. Because you and your brother is a danger for the world." Lannan say
"Alive? So you are going to shoot me?" I ask laughing, knowing that he would never be able to kill me
"Ya damn right babe" Lannan say
"Babe, you know pretty well that I'm trained, and I know the second you pull that trigger. You aren't going to be able to shoot me. And you wouldn't be able to handle the guilt." I say
"How can you be so sure?" Lannan ask
"Because you have a good heart. You care about everyone. You're not like me. Not emotionless and stone cold." I explain

Then behind Lannan I see two men and one girl bursting through the door. The girl is, Elena? Elena is holding a gun? The two men is holding some kind of console?
"Hello y/n. No time no see huh?" One man say
"Who are you?" I ask angrily
"The Spine Clan of course!" The other man say
It's not possible! How? How could the follow me and Lannan?
"What do you want?" I ask
"You will se"

They leave the room, close and lock the door. Then I see Lannan's and Elena's eyes turn white. They both raise their guns again, and load them. What the hell?
They must be under some kind of control?! Now I understand. The Spike Clan wants me to shoot both of them. Or they will shoot me. Then I see Elena pulling the trigger, at Lannan. She hits him right in the left lung. His eyes turns back to his usual brown, sweet color. The blood spreads around him. I press my hand against his lung.
"B-babe? What happened?" Lannan ask
I can feel tears streaming down my cheeks. He stops to breath, and I know that I cannot save him. I scream out loud in frustration.
Everything goes black.

I open my eyes to a worried Lannan and Tannar. It was just a nightmare!
"Are you have okay babe?!" Lannan ask
I just hug him tightly. Happy and relieved that everything was just a nightmare.
"It was just a nightmare" I say
"Merry Christmas!" Tannar say, trying to make the situation a little bit happier
"Merry Christmas" Lannan and I say.
We walk to the living room and eat some breakfast.
"Um, babe. Tannar and I are just going to collect some stuff at our parents place.." Lannan say awkwardly
"Okay, can I join?" I ask
"Um no..." Lannan say
I look at him. Why is he so weird?
"We are just going to collect some stuff for Willeh. And we need someone to see after Willeh while we're gone!" Tannar say
"Okay. Drive safe!" I say.

Lannan's POV
Tannar and I walk towards my car.
"You fucking suck at lying. Like literally!" Tannar say to me
"Well, sorry for not having to lie every second. How did you even learn to lie so good?" I ask
"Well, I've thrown some parties in my life." Tannar say laughing
"You have the thing ready?" She ask
"Of course. It's beautiful. You're going to be shook when we collect it!" I say

4 hours later...

Your POV
I bring down all the presents. I've actually shopped a lot to Willeh. But I'm pretty satisfied with Lannan's present. It's a special pair of lenses from my brothers lab. It's going to help Lannan's eyes, so they don't get so red and hurt so much. I gave a perfect present to Tannar. 4 tickets to Bora Bora. I hope she will like them.

Then I hear the door open. It's Lannan and Tannar.
"So y/n. I was wondering if you could help me pick a dress for my date tomorrow?" Tannar say.
"Of course! Let's get upstairs" I say
We run up and look at some dresses and shoes.

40 minutes later...

We finally got a perfect outfit, and it's perfect. She's going to look so pretty! I look at the clock. It's already 8 pm! We get downstairs, and I see Tannar holding a camera.
"Why are you filming?" I ask
"Just vlogging ya know..." Tannar say with a mysterious smirk on her face

When we get down, I can see Lannan standing by the Christmas tree in a red suit. Pretty sexy. He walks towards me, and grabs my hands.
"Babe, you are the best thing that have ever happened to me. If I had never met you, I don't even know who I would be. Because I'm nothing without you. And I love you. I will love you forever." Lannan say blushing
"Aww, I will also love you forever!" I say kissing Lannan. He then gets down to one knee. He takes out something from his pocket. He opens it, and inside is a beautiful diamond ring.
"Will you marry me?" Lannan ask
I look at him. I'm so shook so I don't even know what to say.
"Yes! Of course! A hundred times yes!" I shout. Lannan grabs me by the waist and lift me up. I kiss him and he puts the ring on my finger. It fits perfectly.
"Mrs Eacott, Merry Christmas " Lannan say
