Hey everyone! You have no idea how happy I was when I published that last chapter!

I need to stop apologizing but I really should've gotten this update in earlier.

Anyway, happy 100th one-shot and I hope you all enjoy!! (Note at end of chapter too!)

(Natsu and Lucy are not already dating)

"Yay! Finally sleep!" Natsu exclaimed, shifting closer to his best friend next to him on the couch as she read a book peacefully.

"That's nice. Now try to keep it down so I can read."

Natsu huffed, "I'm gonna go sleep in your bed if you're not gonna take it."

"What? Hey! Let's not do that! It's still mine!"

"Than sleep in it." He smiled toothily. "It's already late. You should get some sleep."

Lucy sighed and picked up her white and black bookmark. She stood up to her feet and grinned. "After I clean up the kitchen."

"Okay! Don't be long!"

Lucy gave a questioning brow, "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I'm not gonna sleep in that dusty couch,"

Lucy felt her heart drop from the word "dusty."

"So instead, I'm sleeping with you!"

"That sentence has many more meanings than one you know," She muttered beneath her breath. "Fine. Just don't take the whole blanket."

By this time, Lucy should've already been used to the fact that Natsu has been sharing the bed with her. Even when she wasn't there. But at the same time, she understood that they were best friends and he didn't necessarily like to be alone at night, knowing who-knows what had happened to the one he cares most for.

There, he slipped beneath the covers and glanced at the creaked open door, waiting for the blonde to waltz in her white t-shirt and fluffy, pink, long pants.

Meanwhile, Lucy sauntered into the kitchen, flexing her arms while doing so while catching the eye of Happy who threw out his leftover fish bones.

"That was a nice meal." He commented.

"Glad to see you actually cleaned up after yourself." Lucy retorted with the upturns of her lips.

Lucy stacked the dishes away that were dried and filled herself a cup of water. She called over Happy to the side as she switched off the light, grabbed her cup of water and walked away.

Happy paused. "Lushee,"

She looked down at the call of her hand, "Yeah?"

"Could I ruin you and Natzu's friendship?"  Happy stared off to the floor.

Lucy crouched down before him. Knowing the fact that no matter how close she and Natsu were, Natsu and Happy will always remain the power friends. For she had only thought of herself as just a mere friend or partner to them. Of which she didn't mind at all. "Happy, you and Natsu will always be the most powerful friends ever. No matter how many times me and Natsu hang out. Nothing can ruin your friendship."

"What if he thought of you as more of a friend?"

Lucy flushed, "Why would he think that?!"

Happy but his tongue considering what he had just said. Heck, Natsu told him to never even mention it! "Forget it. It's dumb."

"Huh?" She whispered. It was questionable indeed, but at the same time, she didn't want to dig deeper into a subject she showed no absolute interest in. At least, she had thought so.
