Honey

Still dazed from sleep, I almost entirely walked down the dark street completely blind. If it weren't for the occasional lamp post and the cold breeze on my face, I would've fallen asleep right on the side of the road.

Vaguely spotting the van in the spot where the text said it was, I increased my speed and smiled when passenger door opened slightly. Hopping inside, I laid against the car seat. While still trying to catch my breath as well as regain feeling in my hands and toes, I glanced beside me to see the man smiling like a Cheshire cat.

Despite his disheveled appearance with his bed hair, Oppa was wide awake. I, on the other hand, wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep. However, like an idiot, I somehow found myself agreeing to meet him at 4:30 in the freaking morning!

"This better be good Oppa, or I swear I will make you become Cucumber's breakfast," I warned the actor as he reached behind his seat and pulled out two bags filled to the brim with food. Eyeing them with caution, I couldn't help but ask, "Are we leaving the country, Bogum Oppa?"

He chuckled.

"Despite how tempting that sounds, we are not leaving the country. Instead, we are going somewhere nice and quiet."

Then, after starting the van and on the road, he told me to recline my seat and go back to sleep, insisting that he'd wake me later.  Not arguing with the man one bit, I did what I was told and fell under within seconds.

..................

They say there is nothing better than to wake up to a handsome sounding voice which belongs to an equally handsome man.

I never believed that until now.

Call me biased or obsessive, but there was such a man.

"Honey? Honey, wake up."

Rubbing my eyes, I opened them to see more rural looking roads than urban. We were definitely out of the city. Glancing to the clock to see it was just past 6 o'clock, I groaned and stretched my arms. Not bothering to put up my seat just yet, I rolled my heavy body to the side and watched Bogum continue to drive.

"Where are we going?"

Taking his eyes off the road for just a second, he glanced at me and chuckled. With one hand still on the wheel, he reached across and brushed a strand of hair (that I didn't notice) from my mouth. Immediately turning red,  I cleared my throat and adjusted my seat. Deciding to distract myself with some food, I hastily grabbed the bag and pulled out a packet of mandarins. Peeling one, I placed the whole thing in my mouth and winched at its slightly sour taste.

Peeling another, I was about eat it when a thought crossed my mind. Peering over at Bogum, who had been driving for the last two hours,  I watched as he licked his lips. He must be hunger. Breaking the fruit into quarters,  I held up to his mouth.  Initially he was startled and flinched slightly. But after seeing what it was, he gladly ate it.

"Thank you," He mumbled while still chewing. Resembling a chipmunk, I couldn't help but giggle. He looked so cute! Ending up feeding him another mandarin, I scrunched up my nose as my hands were now sticky and reeked of mandarin. He seemed to notice this and told me he had wet wipes tucked into the pocket behind my chair. Grabbing them, I pulled out a wet wipe just in time to spot the road sign with the English word 'beach' and I gasped.

"We're going to a beach?!"

He hummed and nodded his head as he turned left. After hearing the waves first, my jaw dropped open when I saw the water. I haven't been to the beach since I was a little girl. If only the sun was up, I could really enjoy- wait! "We're going to see the sunrise?!" Again he nodded, this time smiling, and my head exploded.
