a/n: felix is smaller than changbin in this book because i feel like the way he is planned to treat felix and how their relationship is going to be, changbin metaphorically and physically is taller, but not by a lot.

"so where are you taking me?"the younger waddled behind changbin. he didn't necessarily have a planned area, but just to wing it and see what would pop up. this was how he brain worked, and often led to great ideas. it did not, however, work well with how schools taught students.
"downtown. we'll see where it will lead us. does that sound okay?" changbin's round glasses peered downward towards felix.
felix never really had a consistent way of thinking. he sometimes would plan, and with others, he wouldn't. he did know that if he took someone on his first date, it would be planned. he wouldn't want to mess up any flying chance that someone grew a liking to him. he'd try to fill the gaps of he as a human who cannot easily socially function, or as what his strict parents would tell him whenever they felt he was a failure.
this was often.
he found himself trailing in his eminent hole and nodded hesitantly, following an optimistic smile.
felix took this opportunity to really analyze who he would possibly love for a long time, maybe his whole life if he was lucky. changbin was confident for seeing where fate would lead. dates were usually taken seriously, especially if it was someone who never went on one before, let alone a whole new person.
a laid-back, easy-going boy. hopefully he won't be jealous, felix thought to himself. felix didn't know that the tallers hand was in his own before he went to fan his yellow t shirt. the vibrant color matched with his brownish black hair, and it was easily contrastable with some black jeans. but today he wore light blue.
i'm not letting myself get any hotter from the sun, especially with jeans. why did i wear jeans again? of course he stopped himself. people see one scar and will assume it was a bite or a surgery or someone fell. but multiple in one place can make it hard to seem like an.. accident.
changbin noticed the boys discomfort. "wanna stop in here?" he pointed at the menu in the window and saw boba smoothies. the younger nodded eagerly. he loved boba with a passion, and a red, strawberry smoothie would go great with his dry, heated mouth. felix loved strawberries as much as boba. thankfully, the color went well with his favorite yellow plain tee.
changbin held the door open for him as felix waddled in, taking off his sunglasses and hooking them around his shirt. he felt a gentle hand come up behind his back. he awed at the wonderful conditioned air that contrasted with the heat. he thankfully wasn't sweating much. felix's slender figure walked behind changbin, covering himself partly by changbins more masculine body. they both bowed slightly.
"hello! can i have a mango boba smoothie?" changbin turned upwards to look at the boy who anxiously glazed back at the girl behind the counter.
"c-can i have strawberry b-boba smoothie?" he mustered out, scratching his arm underneath the short sleeve, and later fidgeting with the hem. changbin smiled at him.
"you did good, don't worry." he gave a reassuring smile, and felix shot back an apologetic one.
"sorry" he mumbled, looking down at his converse. changbin slid his arm over the slouched, small boy.
"there's nothing to be sorry about." his voice was calm and smooth. felix always wanted to be that person with everyone, but he could only truly act confident around one person, and that person was no longer in his life anymore. changbin let go of felix to grab both of their smoothies and paid, giving an extra tip while he grabbed the wide boba straws and guided felix out. while changbin was still closing the store door behind him, felix's eyes lit up at the new-opened store across the road.
"wahh i didn't know je vieux t'aime opened across the street!" he turned to see changbin walking towards him.
"can we walk in?" felix's eyes lit up like a child, and the youth made changbin smirk.
"we'll do whatever you want, babe" felix was too excited for the store in sight that he didn't hear the babe afterwards and got a brain freeze from sipping too much of the smoothie.
changbins arm slid over his shoulders again. this seemed to be a habit of changbins.
felix obsessively looked both ways more than once, frightened that a zooming car can come out of no where and kill the both of them.
felix tried opening the door this time, but changbin grabbed it from him and ushered him inside.
the store was quite a normal size and was comforting to be in. books and trinkets and stuffed animals filled the room, and scents from the corner of the room filled with candies, perfume, cologne, and even hygiene. the store had everything.
changbin tried to take everything in a swig of a look, but he realized that it was a gallon he was looking at.
"i personally come here for the plushies." he interrupted by admitting this. felix slung his mini backpack over his chest and opened it to find that his statement was true, holding out a plushie with a face that was exactly ;-;.
"ahhhh it's cute like you." changbin said, pulling him to the plushie section. and sad like me. felix couldn't help but to notice that the intimidation changbin smiled through the squishings of the plushies. after an hour  being in there, they gathered a couple things they couldn't resist but buying.
felix had one plushie, while changbin had one as well as cologne.
they walked out towards the setting sun towards the beach while changbin swung the bag while walking down the less-crowded streets.
"let's take off our shoes and sit on the dock, yeah?" changbin said, wondering if felix felt comfortable so far with the date.
felix gave the biggest smile all night and gleamed up at him. "i'd love to... the stars are so pretty tonight. don't you love the sky?" changbin couldn't help but notice the sudden burst of energy that felix gathered.
"yes, i do.... s-" changbin was interrupted by felix's ecstatic self.
"this is for you by the way. what are you going to name it?" felix always named everything he owned that was important. why not name something that's yours? felix enjoyed being creative with names, being creative with anything. if he couldn't find a name, he could always look up to the sky, and a name (or two) would easily be whispered in his ear, fitting the object perfectly.
".... gyu. gyu, i love it. thank you babe." felix this time being distracted by how beautiful the stars were.

the cold water occasionally splashed over felix's bare feet, and his jeans were cuffed higher to keep them from getting wet although it was no use.
the salty, cozy warm air washes his worries away as he tilting his head up and shut his eyes to absorb this heart-warming, serene moment.
changbin took in the scene in front of him, but not at the ocean and the stars. he was looking at the sublime boy in front of him, with his black hair softly moving through the wind. he held himself up with his fingers curved on the edge of the wooden dock. changbin admired the yellow and blue tones from felix and the setting in front of him.
he's beautiful.

A/N:
so.... haha.... hi🥰 i have school tomorrow! i've been on break and i wish i updated a bit more. but because of this, i'll be writing as much as possible tonight and try writing an update for each book and have it ready to upload as frequently as i can. i want to add a twist to euphoria because honestly i want to delete it so bad it's so freaking predictable. to be honest, it was just meant as a warmup just to get the flow of things. now that i have my mind spurring with ideas, i have so many ideas to switch that story up. but for this story, i made a spread with the plot and symbols and summaries of the chapters, etc. my guess is this book is going to be 20 parts. i know what will happen at the end and what happens to the beginning 11 chapters, but i ran out of space on the page for the rest.
