That was a rush! After we were all done coughing we all continued our search. I felt light headed because of all the teleporting and fighting but not that much as before. The first time I collapsed was when I was teleporting all of us to the house. Now, I know how to use it but I still feel lightheaded because I used too much. If I use all my magic, all my energy is gone and I die.
We look around more and more until I feel something different. I paused in my tracks. “Mitch, what’s wrong?” Jerome asked. I looked around viewing my sight. When I was about to say nothing something moved in the shadows that anyone without my powers wouldn’t see. One word came out of my mouth, “Run.”
As soon as I said that, everyone started sprinting because the guards were coming out. “Mitch, what do we do?” Jerome screamed. “Teleport to the other part of the city!” I grabbed everyone’s hand and pulled them in. I started to imagine the warehouse where we train because we were on the opposite side of town of that place.
The surface under soon disappears and comes back after a while. “Ugh.” I groaned and fell on the wall. “Mitch!” Jerome said coming to my side. I looked at my hands and noticed one was black and the other a very pale white.
“He’s not okay.” Jason answered. He knew the most out of the group. “That only happens to him if he used too much power. He can’t regain any that will help him right now.” I soon heard footsteps and before you know it, my trainer was by my side. “You can’t fight anymore. This is too much.” He looked at my friends, “He defended you, now you must defend him.” They nodded and helped me up.
I heard shouts of guards. “Come on let’s go.” Ian said. “No, they should’ve taken fifteen minutes to get here. By then, he would’ve had enough power to run. You kids go ahead and find him, I’ll keep Mitch for a while.” They nodded and ran off. I hid behind a trashcan and saw him fight the guards.
As he was fighting, he didn’t notice the guard overhead and was about to slice him. I threw a strong laser at him and he fell to the ground dead. I revealed my area and they started to attack me. My trainer helped but his magic was too weak on them. I used my magic, once again, and killed every guard in a 10 meter radius.
“You need to stop, your flame is flickering.” He said helping me up. “What?” I asked confused. He led me to the warehouse and showed me our symbols. I looked at my symbol. What was once a strong rose living in a strong flame was now an almost dead rose and the fire was flickering.
I stared at Jason’s symbols that were still strong. Then I heard footsteps. “I’ll check that.” He said. He went off into the other room and I continued to stare at the symbols. “Why does this have to happen to me?” I heard footsteps and yelling then silence.
I heard the door open and close. I assumed it was my trainer until I heard his voice, “You are quite powerful, my son.” I swiftly turn around and see him, Herobrine.
