I couldn’t see but I could hear. After a while I felt something on my chest and then that’s when I could hear things. Apparently the guys were bringing me back to the house. After what seemed like hours of silence I finally opened my eyes.
At first I was blinded but then I could see. I was I my room and Jason was sleeping in a chair beside my bed. I guess they had watching spots. I woke him up and he smiled, “You’re-” I cut him off by placing my hand on his mouth. “Be quiet, I don’t want to disturb the others.”
He nodded and I asked him a simple question, “What happened?” He told me what happened and I sighed. “What’s wrong?” I looked at him, he didn’t understand. “Do you think we’ll be human again?” He looked away, “I’m not sure. Let’s hope for the best.” I nodded and stared out the window, remembering the talk I had with my trainer before he died.
“We wouldn’t be going through this if I were the same person I was. Now I’m a dang monster!” I yelled. I kept on trying to properly use my powers but failed. He sat beside me and said, “You’re not a monster but I don’t have the right to say you are human.” I stared at him. “Since you were born, you had this certain path and Herobrine gave you that path. Yes you will have problems but your path was chosen. Now you are at crossroads, to keep on training and eventually succeed in your choice of your quest or give up. So since you were born, you were different from human. You were and still are Mitchell Donald Ralph Hughes. Not a human, nor monster.”
I looked over at Jason one more time before I stood up. “Come on, let’s get the guys. I want to show them something.” We woke everyone up and they were happy I was awake. We all went outside and goofed around. That was until Jason asked, “What did you want to show us?” I waved my hand in the air and something amazing happened. The world seemed to become clearer and brighter. Then something flashed in our eyes, Herobrine.
“He’s coming very soon.” I said smiling. They all panicked, “We have to get ready then!” I smiled even wider, “We don’t have to get ready.” They looked at me like I was a monster. Jason soon understood and walked to my side. “He gave us these powers to help us on our journey. I know that when he comes we’ll all be our strongest.” Flames flickered in my eyes but soon faded.
They smiled at me, but Mr. Ian the buzzkill said, “But, he turned you into a monster.” I disagreed, “He didn’t turn me into a monster nor change me from being human, but he left me as myself, Mitch.”
