Hello, loves!

And welcome to Mainstreaming! Feel free to skip ahead to the prologue, you won't miss much here.

Mainstreaming is heavily influence by two things. The first and most obvious is You. And the second, less conspicuous piece of inspiration comes from the song "Mainstreaming" by Kaada, which is where the story gets its title from.

I'm going for coffee shop vibes, so the playlist with consist of a lot of Sufjan Stevens, Aurora, Kaada, Broken Bells, ect. I'll also have classical music to play in the background for you. Easy listening. You know what I'm sayin'?

UPDATES THURSDAYS AND SUNDAYS.

Please enjoy! I love you and am glad you exist.

This is not a love story. It's a detailed account of how scary obsession is.

Please keep in mind that while Penn Badgley is a smoking hot little cinnamon roll, Joe Goldberg is a truly sick character. If anyone tries to "love" you the way he loved Beck, run.

Get the hell out of there because it never ends well.

That said, this is a work of fiction. I'll do my best to keep things lighthearted and fun, but if reading becomes too much, reach out to someone you trust for help.

And as always, I'm glad you exist.
