/The Day They Met For The 2nd Time\
(aka the day Jeongin confessed to his friends that he has a crush uwu)

-

It was a usual Sunday morning for Chan.

He woke up at 11:34 A.M and as he opened his eyes he was faced with his room, the most noticeable thing to him being his favorite big bear that he would hug in his sleep and when he was sad.

No bright light streaming in through his window, unlike the living room or kitchen downstairs.

His room was always dark, and as he groggily sat up on his cozy bed he stretched and looked around.

He did his usual, brush his teeth and glance at his reflection for no more than 3 seconds, check his phone, and then head downstairs.

There were only a few days out of the week when his family was home, and so it was mostly empty.

Waddling towards the source of most the food he's ever eaten like a baby duckling he headed towards the fridge.

He didn't much like the light that beamed in through the window during the mornings, but as he prepared far too many pancakes for one person he was glad the light had kept him awake, he hated the smell of burnt food.

Sitting down at the dining table would have felt too spooky and lonely, and so he decided to sit on the couch and watch tv.

He didn't much care for what was on the tv, none of his favorite shows would be on so early in the morning and he didn't feel like getting his laptop to watch shows.

As he watched some weather person talk about this week's weather and the news anchor going on about whatever news they could muster on such a boring day he realized he didn't like many things anymore.

Time passed slowly, or maybe it was just his boredom, and he had quickly turned off the tv and cleaned up his dishes.

As he glanced at all the extra pancakes he made he couldn't help but wonder if he was lonely or if he wanted to be alone, he didn't truly know the difference anymore.

His boredom was at its peak and he decided he needed a walk, some fresh air, as he didn't want to hang out with his friends that day.

As he walked his mind was running, wondering as he passed the baseball field nearby if he could play a game of baseball with his friends, wondering as he passed the local grocery store his close friend Felix worked at if he should a job there, too.

He passed a book store, a music store, a cafe, and he wondered who he would bring there, someone dear to him, surely.

Maybe he would buy that person their favorite book and they could pick out music together, and they could head to the cafe if he didn't have too much homework and they would drink anything that sounded good and eat something sweet.

He wasn't sure why but his eyes seemed to water, and so he went to wipe at his eyes with the sleeve of his dark blue hoodie like one does, but all his attention was no longer focused on that.

As he had walked in front of his childhood park he didn't have time to wonder how long he had been walking to stumble upon the park, as he heard a high pitched glass-shattering dolphin scream come from there that made him forget about his eyes watering entirely.

He didn't hesitate to use all the energy he had to sprint into the park and near the playground and such.

At first he couldn't spot the source of such a scream as the park was empty, but when he looked around he seen something pink in a very climb-able tree, which didn't take him more than a second to realize that it was converse and who exactly those pink coinverse belonged to.

"Jeongin?"

"Chan?"

I changed the cover yesterday! :D 💕
I think it looks better, but I'm not sure, either way I'll at least stick with it for a little while because I like it ♡
