Here Chan was, looking at a very cute boy stuck in a tree.

He'd probably seen everything there is to see by now, and this would have to be his favorite sight by far as he struggled to contain his laughter.

"Please, PLEASE, don't tell anyone about this," Jeongin pleaded with the cutest puppy dog eyes and pouty lips. "If Felix knew I would never live it down."

Chan laughed, more of a nervous laugh. His heart was honestly mush at the hands of Jeongin because of those puppy dog eyes, and he was hoping Jeongin didn't notice.

"I won't," Chan said with a genuine smile that made Jeongin's cheeks light up.

"Your so cute," Chan mumbled.

Jeongin looked at him with a confused expression, his confusion causing him to almost fall and scream for the second time.

Chan's poor ears.

"If I help you down will you stop screaming?"

"Yes please, I would very much like to be on the ground and not on the verge of death."

"You're not on the verge of death," Chan lost it now and was no longer holding back his wonderful laugh that sounded like music to Jeongin's ears.

"That's what they all say until they fall, now hurry up and help me down!"

-4 minutes later-

Jeongin was a panic stricken mess when Chan tried to help him down by letting him get on his shoulders, he was far too chicken to move.

"Your fine, okay, I've told you this so many times by now."

Chan couldn't help but sigh at how stubborn Jeongin could be sometimes.

Okay, most of the time, but he would never say it to Jeongin's face.

He was also really cute, like, all the time, but Chan quickly realized that he should be focusing on getting the boy out of the tree, no matter how cute he was.

"I'M GOING TO FALL AND IT'LL BE ALL YOUR FAULT!"

Jeongin had his eyes shut tightly and Chan knew he didn't mean any harm by what he said as he stared lovingly at a boy in a big sweater that didn't quite cover his fear.

"Jeongin," Chan said in a voice that attempted to calm the boy he looked at from the ground.

Jeongin peaked at him only to close his eyes tightly again. He wasn't sure if the look on Chan's face was one of pity or love, but he was sure that he didn't want to know.

"I won't let you fall, your alright."

Although Jeongin was usually very stubborn and didn't trust strangers easily he found himself trusting a boy he had only met twice and seen many times, and he didn't know why.

Chan was facing away from Jeongin so he could get on his shoulders, and Jeongin just knew Chan was smiling when he was finally out of the tree and safely on his shoulders.

Jeongin had expected Chan to wobble once he was on his shoulders, but as he clenched his eyes shut out of fear nothing happened.

He couldn't help but blink in surprise when he realized Chan had managed to set him down on a nearby bench without him knowing.

"How'd you do that?!"

"How are you so loud? My head hurts."
Chan didn't mean anything by it, but he was amused when Jeongin had dramatically gasped and held his hand to his heart.

Time had hardly passed, but as Chan watched Jeongin pretend to be offended by crossing his arms and refusing to look at Chan he felt like they had known each other for years.

Chan decided to speak before he got too distracted by his angelic features, and luckily he had thought of something that would get Jeongin's attention for sure.

"Jeongin?"

No response.

"Do you wanna go to a cafe?"

That had gained Jeongin's attention, but Chan didn't notice.

"I'll pay."

Suddenly Jeongin had turned to him with a bright smile that showed his braces and reached his eyes and Chan swore for a few moments something was different, nothing felt so bland anymore.

Jeongin had impatiently hopped off the bench when he realized Chan had gotten lost in thought and pouted once again.

"Hurry up, Channie!"

I've probably already said this, but I really appreciate any love you've given this story. considering this is the first story I've ever published on wattpad so it makes me really happy that even a few people like it 💕

I'm just gonna stop while I can so that I don't ramble too much or get too sappy >_<
