Jeongin had never had such a busy day, at least not as busy as that day had been.
Nothing would ever be more overwhelming than being found stuck in a tree by someone with a really adorable smile and contagious laugh.
It just wasn't fair, he was so charming his cheeks felt like they would never cool down.
Jeongin had just gone home after hanging out with Chan and eating at the cafe.
They had walked together and sat at the park simply talking until it was almost 6:00 P.M, but they both had to get home to complete last minute homework.
"Honey?"
His mom chimed from the living room.
"Yes, mom?"
Jeongin questioned as he stepped into the living room.
"Why are you home so late?"
"I was hanging out with Jisung and a friend."
"Well, tomorrow is Monday so you should be in bed by 10."
"I will, mom."
Jeongin's mom was quite loving, maybe a bit too trusting, and she meant well but she was often over protective.
Jeongin's little brother had it even worse, which he thought was impossible at first but nothing was impossible with his mom, she never failed to surprise people.
"Oh! hey, Jeongin."
"Hey, dad."
"You usually don't get home so late, were you on a date?"
His dad asked with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
His dad was far too chill, he didn't understand how someone who worked so often could be so carefree, it just didn't make any sense to him.
"No, dad, I was hanging out with Jisung and one of his friends."
"Do you happen to have a crush on one of them?"
His dad asked expectantly.
Jeongin couldn't help but flush and a knowing grin spread across his face.
his dad never did know when to stop, he wouldn't stop until he got a truthful answer.
"No, dad, I've never had a crush."
"HONEY, HONEY COME QUICK!"
His father yelled for his mother, her hopping out of her spot on the couch and running over to them, she was like sonic when it came to gossiping about her own children.
"What's the tea today? I want all the details."
His mom demanded and so they went to gossip about him in the kitchen.
"Really, guys?!"
Jeongin shouted so they would hear him from the living room.
"We're having adult time, Honey!"
His mother shouted back.
"EW, ARE THEY KISSING?"
His brother screeched as he had overheard the very loud conversation. Whenever he heard the words 'adult' and 'time' in one he got immediately grossed out.
His parents were gossiping jokesters, and so they often said things that weird his poor little brother out even more.
"Yes, sweetie, We're definitely not gossiping!"
Although to anyone else It would've sounded like sarcasm, his little brother took any and all jokes seriously.
"EWWWW!!"
His brother shouted as he ran off, probably to hide in his room.
Jeongin was also a little grossed out, but he was able to get a good laugh out of it considering the disgusted face his little brother made before he ran off.
Jeongin headed off to his room in hopes of getting some peace and quiet, but he just couldn't focus.
He was sat at his desk staring at his homework, but he just couldn't do it. This homework was surprisingly simple, so why was it so hard?
Scanning all the little details in his wooden desk, a name had came to mind.
A face, a smile, and an unforgettable laugh.
His laugh rang through his mind again, causing him to smile brightly, his cheeks turning a little rosy.
He thought of his smile, and how his adorable dimples showed off his fun personality like his naturally curly hair did.
He thought of his features, as he recalled every memory he had of him.
He had such a unique and pretty face, one you could stare at and never get bored of.
He thought of his name. Chan. Chan, the boy who distracted him immensely.
The boy that made a garden full of butterflies in his tummy, the boy who made his eyes light up at the sight of him, the boy that was his first crush.
Jeongin was shocked for a moment.
Sitting here in front of his homework, he had realized he had his first crush, and he no idea what to do.
Do you ask your crush out? That didn't seem like a very good idea. Do you be extra kind to them in hopes of them liking you back? That might have been a little better, but knowing him and how smitten he is he would do the opposite.
He worked on his bed, hoping for more comfort whilst holding a plushie close to him in his left hand and his pencil in his right.
He had left his room to eat dinner, like he normally did, but after going back to his room to go to sleep he just couldn't.
As the clock struck 1 A.M there was only one thing he could think to do, and that was to confess to his friends that he had his first crush through text.
And so, that was the day he confessed.
He had hardly touched his homework, and tomorrow was Monday, he would probably see Chan at lunch, but his lack of sleep would make him tired.
No matter how much he didn't want to face tomorrow, he would have to. He was never to good with his feelings, he was the distant snarky kid that always finished his homework on time, not the touchy-feely smitten kid that forgot everything.
He felt like a disaster, but he would have to suck it up for yet another monday.

I had no idea what to write because I need to plan out some filler pages, and although filler pages are fun I have a hard time coming up with them ;-;
I am getting more ideas, but I'm gonna be busy this weekend so I'm not going to be able to write much until Tuesday 😭
