As I got older, it seemed as if you'd never leave me.
In fact, I found that it is impossible for you to disappear unless I disappear myself. It came to a point where thinking of you was a punishment.
I didn't want you, but I couldn't afford to lose you.
Like the stars in the night sky, we didn't know if you were already gone, or still shining bright in our night sky. It can be years after your death before I realize I've actually lost you.
Why do you follow me?
