12. Advice On Destiny

*in Sombra and Oscura' quarters the two are putting armor on as they hear a knock at their door*

Sombra/Oscura- Enter!

* Twilight and Dusk walk in*

Sombra- *smiles* Twilight, Dusk! You two should be getting some rest like your friends. We're leaving soon.

Twilight- *nods* We know...but we were wondering if we could ask you two something.

Oscura- *calmly* Anything, young royals.

Dusk- *looks at them in concern* That's the thing. Being a prince and princess...that's still new to us.

Twilight- *concerned* You two are leaders to your ponies...good ones. We never really expected to be in these roles. *admits* We were hoping that you two would have advice for us?

Oscura- *calmly* From what we've heard about you two, you two have already been leaders of your friends for some time.

Dusk- *concerned* *helps with their armor* That's nothing compared to being royalty. We've had lots of adventures sure, but what's that in comparison to this?

Sombra- *calmly* It is not nothing. Your friends look to you two for help, for guidance.

Twilight- *admits* *helps with their armor* And we look to them for the same things.

Oscura- *smiles calmly* It is a lucky pony indeed who can rely on so many friends.

Dusk- *sighs* This isn't how we expected our lives to be. *looks at them* You two knew Star Swirl. What was he like?

Sombra/Oscura- *smiles* As smart as they come.

Twilight- *admits* Do you think we're like him?

Sombra/Oscura- *nods* Very much so.

Twilight- *admits* Well, he's always been a hero of ours...but so has Princess Celestia and Prince Solaris.

Oscura- *sincerely* Three very wonderful ponies to model oneself after.

Dusk- *looks at them* If you two could pick being a normal pony or a leader, what would you two pick?

Sombra- *sincerely* Twilight, Dusk, we are both normal ponies and leaders...we may be a king and queen, but we had to earn those titles from our subjects, as did Celestia and Solaris, as did you two.

Oscura- *sincerely* I'm sure if Star Swirl sought it, he'd have been a king among ponies. He certainly was for us.

Twilight- *chuckles* I do like the idea of an alicorn Star Swirl.

Sombra/Oscura- *sincerely* Our best advice to you two is whatever kind of ponies you are, be good ones. *admits* That's not very helpful, is it?

Twilight/Dusk- *admits* A little thank you. *the two start to leave* *sincerely to them* Thank you, Sombra and Oscura.

Sombra/Oscura- *sincerely* You're both welcome.

*the two leave out the room and chuckles to themselves at an alicorn Star Swirl*

*Sombra and Oscura looks in a chest and sees Celestia and Solaris' wishes and puts them in their armor and sighs deeply*

*as Twilight and Dusk are walking they hear a noise*

Twilight/Dusk- *concerned* Sombra? Oscura?

Evil Celestia/Evil Solaris- *appears behind them with sinister grins and their horns glowing*

Twilight/Dusk- *immediately turns around to see Evil Celestia and Evil Solaris bent to their level smirking slyly* *immediately activates their magic with glares*

Evil Celestia/Evil Solaris- *alluringly* *their horns glow and gently touches Twilight and Dusk's horns* Shhh....

Twilight/Dusk- *their eyes shrink in shock as their magic gets disrupted and they fall unconscious in their hooves*

Evil Celestia/Evil Solaris- *grins sinisterly and creates shadow versions of them* *disappears in flames with them*

*Applejack, AJ, Rarity, Elusive come outside*

Rarity- *concerned* Twilight, Dusk are you two alright? We heard something outside.

Shadow Twilight/Shadow Dusk- *gets up and looks around* *monotone* Everything is fine...

*the four shrug and head back inside*
