He knows something is off with you when you start making excuse after excuse about not going to the host club.

The more he's at the club without you, the more down he feels and that affects his performance when it comes to entertaining his guests. Instead of calling you, he just shows up at your place and since you lived alone, it would be easy to sit down and get to the bottom of your strange behavior the past few weeks. You, unaware of him coming over were in sweatpants and and a tank top, not really feeling like being around anyone unless you had to.

Rejecting Tamaki time and time again was awful, but you just couldn't go through those doors. The self-confidence you built up was finally all chipped away by some of the students at Ouran.

Of course, you didn't tell your boyfriend that because he had other things to worry about. Being a bigger person, you knew you were different and you were always compared to thinner people in every aspect.

You felt like you didn't belong in such a place with beautiful and high class people like that. So, sitting here in your apartment was your go to. That was until the shrill knocks on your door startled you.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N), I know you're in there, please open up for me."

You felt the color drain from your face as Tamaki's voice filtered through the closed door. You knew the man wouldn't stop until you let him in and you didn't want to get on your neighbors bad side.

Quickly getting to the door, you opened it as he barreled his way through, grabbing onto your soft arms, fingers digging into your squishy flesh.

"Please (Y/N), tell me what's wrong and don't tell me it's nothing either."

Seeing the desperation in his eyes you nodded your head as you locked the front door and grabbed him by the hand, leading him to the privacy of your bedroom to talk. With both of you on the bed, you still held his hand, his thumb stroking over the tops of your knuckles softly.

"I just...I'm not good enough for the host club Tamaki."

"(Y/N), you are enou-"

"No, I'm not! I'm big, huge, Tamaki, I'm too fat to be in the host club. I don't belong there, I'm the equivalent of a bull in China shop for God's sake!"

His eyes widened at your outburst and the words, the cruel words you shouted about yourself. It broke his heart.

Tamaki cradled your soft cheek in one hand, fingers gently caressing your skin making you calm down a bit.

"I never knew you felt like this... and it breaks my heart. You're absolutely amazing and your beauty, the brightest star in the sky doesn't hold a candle to you."

You scoffed at his cheesy words, but they still brought a smile to your face. A smile that Tamaki had missed dearly.

"I know you think my words are cheesy, but (Y/N), please believe me when I say that you are the most beautiful person in the world and I love you; all of you forever and always."
