Stein X !Chubby !Gender Neutral Reader Headcanons (SFW)

-Even though many say that he is heartless, that's not the case when it comes to you.

-You were a new aide hired to assist Stein and the moment you walked through his doors, he felt something foreign to him, that he'd never felt before.

-He didn't want to dissect you, which is his usual feeling or first thought when he meets someone. No, he wanted to know more about you, it scared him at first; these new feelings, but your smile eased him a bit.

-At first, he'll be hell bent on ignoring you, being rude to you and just being a total ass because he's not used to these feelings at all and he's scared about not understanding them.

-He'll take jabs at your weight and stature and how you do specific things for him. Yes, it hurts you and your confidence, but you keep going with a smile on your face.

-It would continue this way for months and Stein would get irritated beyond belief. He wanted you to quit and leave so he'd stop feeling whatever the hell he was feeling, but you'd just give him that damn smile and continue on with your duties.

-One day he snapped and almost dissected you on the spot.

-He couldn't take the warm feeling he was feeling every time he saw you and you just took his insults with a smile as usual, but instead of letting you go, he slammed your soft body onto the dissecting table as he held you down onto it a scalpel near your eye.

-"S-Stein, w-w-what're you doing, stop, please!"

-Your voice was filled with fear as the scalpel hovered above your eye as you awaited him to start slicing you up.

-Stein hesitated, his heart clenching at the tears that ran down your chubby cheeks. Without another thought, he threw the weapon to the side and slid his hands up to cup your cheeks as he started to describe the feelings he was feeling ever since you came into his life.

-After the whole ordeal of Stein almost cutting you up and him having a heart to heart talk with you, you've been helping him with his feelings and needless to say, it was working great.

-You both started hanging out together in your free time, mostly spending time at your place since it had more privacy than Stein's and it had a much more homey feeling.

-Having accepted the new feelings toward you, he was open to touching and would even make the first moves on certain aspects.

-You were curled up on the couch with him one night, under a blanket as a movie was playing, a romantic comedy of course and during a specific romantic part Stein tapped your shoulder.

-Turning to see what he wanted, he captured your lips in a sweet kiss, catching you off guard, but you were happy to return it.

-He also enjoys wrapping his arms around your soft middle, the softness really makes him relax a bit and the warmth you provide is an added bonus.

-The first time he said he loved you was after the school was attacked and he thought he lost you in the devastation, but found you hiding in his lab behind some equipment, safe and sound, but a bit shaken up.

-"(Y/N)!" Stein quickly gathered you in his arms, you were bruised and bleeding a bit, your clothing torn and burned, but you were alive and in one piece. "I thought I lost you...I would've lost it if you were gone, I love you too much." 

-You both froze at his words. Stein only buried his face into your neck refusing to look at you as a silence fell upon you both.

-You both just stayed there on the crumbled floor, embracing one another and enjoying each other's presence.
