Genos was on his way to the store, the usual routine when Saitama needed something for the house. He didn't mind doing it, it was something he enjoyed doing; it made him feel productive as silly as it sounds. Rounding the corner, his eyes narrowed as a big figure was sitting down on the concrete, slumped over with what looked like to be a thin, flimsy blanket covering their form.

He couldn't really make out what or who it was. Maybe it was villain waiting to attack and just waiting for the perfect moment. He narrowed his eyes as he continued up the sidewalk; ready to attack if need be, but the closer he got, he heard a jingling sound that made him quirk his brow.

Seeing a hand from beneath the joke of a blanket, it clutched a tin can, shaking it back and forth a small jingling sound coming from the few coins in the can. Taking a quick glance at the figure as he made his way into the store, he had to do a double take.

It was a girl.

A girl clearly cold as seen by how her larger form shivering was begging for money. Her face looked defeated and lost. Eyes were ringed with dark circles and no sign of a smile on her pretty round face.

...pretty?

Shaking his head, Genos made his way into the store to get what he needed so he could get home. As he started grabbing everything, his mind wandered to the girl on the street. She is pretty, that much was obvious, but why was he thinking about that? He only had strong feelings for his master, but...this was different from his feelings for his master. 

He wanted to help this girl, strange as it was, but his mind just kept going to her and how sad, yes sad was the right emotion. How sad he felt for her. After paying for what he needed, he made his mind up. After months of getting money from the agency because of his work, he decided to rent out the apartment next to Saitama. Of course he still checked on him and bought whatever was needed, but having his own space was nice. It gave him time to relax and think.

"Sir, your bags." Genos snapped out of his thoughts as the store clerk handed him his bags. Giving a nod of thanks, he made his way out. Looking at the same spot, you were still there, can still rattling.

"Excuse me, miss?" Your head tilted up, smudges of dirt on your round cheeks. You didn't say anything, but you stopped moving the can, the coins coming to a stop.

"You're G-Genos...you fought Deep Sea King." He nodded as you stood up, legs shaking and wobbling. With the bags still in his hands, he managed to help you stand, the ratty blanket dropping to the ground with no care. "Thank you for that..." You tried to get more words out, but soon tears welled up in your eyes as you clutched onto Genos, your whole body shaking as sobs escaped you. Without another thought, he scooped you up, bags dangling from his arms as he made his way toward his apartment.

You hummed as you stirred the pot on the stove. Dinner was coming along great! A smile tugged at your lips, the sound of Genos walking through the door was heard. 

"(Y/N), I'm home." 

Quickly placing the lid on the pot, you made your way to the front hall of the apartment, your arms wrapping around his waist. Laying your head against the coolness of his metal chest, you felt him relax as he hugged you back.

"Happy Anniversary (Y/N), I love you." 

Pulling back, you smiled up at him, your dimples showing on your chubby cheeks. It's been a year since Genos saved you from the streets. After your breakdown in front of him, he brought you to his apartment where he made you food and let you take a hot shower. After that, you sat down with him and told him how that vile villain murdered your parents and left you by yourself. Yes, you were a young adult, but you didn't make enough to support yourself and soon you ended up on the streets, that was, until Genos found you and saved you.

You've been living with him for the past year. You got to know each other over the year, eventually you both started dating and it has been wonderful. Genos protected you, gave you a roof over your head and you even started working again, you felt like yourself and you couldn't be happier. 

"I love you too Genos, dinner is almost ready!" You grabbed his hand and pulled him along to go toward the kitchen. Putting the lid to the side, you stirred the pot, the aroma of the food filtering through the air. Your boyfriend's arms wrapped around your pudgy waist, fingers caressing the softness of your stomach. No words were exchanged as his lips trailed down the back of your neck, the gentle butterfly kisses bringing shivers to your body as you tried to concentrate on finishing dinner. 

"You're so beautiful (Y/N), I haven't told you that today, I'm sorry." His husky voice said this into your ear, one of his hands trailed down your stomach, cupping your clothed core making you drop the spoon you were stirring. 

"G-Genos, what are y-." Being impatient, the hero latched onto your neck and started sucking a mark into your delicate skin, his hand rubbing your core over your clothing as your plump body started to twitch in response. 

"I can't wait anymore (Y/N), I need you, supper's going to have to wait, because I want you right now." 

Your chubby hands quickly turned off the stove and moved the pot off the hot burner as Genos gathered you in his arms and quickly made his way toward your guys' bedroom where you both were about to celebrate your anniversary.
