You were wrapped up in a giant blanket, hair messy and pajamas still on regardless of the fact that it was the middle of the day. It was one of those days - bad image days. The days where you just didn't want to see anyone, just wrap yourself up and try to forget about all the negative thoughts flying through your mind.

A sharp knock broke you from your thoughts. A small smile broke onto your lips knowing exactly who it was. The jingling of keys made that thought even more clear.

"(Y/N), are you awake?" Your friend asked this question as he opened your front door, making sure to lock it once he closed it.

Poking your head out of the blanket cocoon, you flashed Trunks a smile as he discarded his jacket and shoes before making his way over to you. The couch dipped as he wrapped his arms around your blanket clad form and pulled you close.

Trunks and yourself have been friends for over nine years and have a deep understanding of one another. You both helped each other through tough times and today was one of those examples. You adored this knuckle head to death, he was so kind and understanding.

"You know you're beautiful, right?" You felt his breath hitting the nape of your neck where he gently nuzzled the soft flesh.

"It's just hard to believe that some days, it helps that you're here with me." Your answer was a bit muffled due to the blanket around you still. Trunks' soft hand rubbed your back gently, the other hand running up and down your plush thighs.

"Just remember (Y/N), I'm always here for you." With that said, Trunks placed a gentle kiss to the side of your head before bringing you both down onto the couch where you were wrapped up in his arms.

You could feel some of your confidence coming back as you snuggled into your friend more, the comfy position and silence slowly lulling you to sleep.
