Mika X Yuu- Never Forgotten

OKAY SO THIS ISN'T REALLY A LOVE STORY MORE LIKE FRIENDSHIP

Yuu POV

One...
Two...
Three...
Four....

I count, as I drag the sharp blade along my tender wrists.

Five...
Six...
Seven...
Eight...

It's all my fault Mika, it's my fault we were never able to escape as a family.

My thoughts are interrupted as I hear Shinoa and the others banging on the bathroom door.

"Yuu, what are you doing in there? You've been in there for over an hour!" Shinoa says.

"I was in the shower! I'll be out in a minute!"

I quickly wash my blade and put it back in my locker and lock it, tidy up my wrists, make sure my sleeves aren't covered in blood then walk out.

Everyone turns and looks at me as I walk out.

"Jesus Yuu, why do you take so long in the shower?" kimizuki says, rolling his eyes at me.

I ignore him and go sit beside Yoichi.

"Guren said that he's got a surprise for us for dinner." Shinoa says.

Great. I feel sick thinking about food. I haven't had a propor meal since.....

That was 4 years ago.

*TIME SKIP PAST WHEN MIKA AND YUU REUNITE*

It's so great that Mika and me have reunited. Guren even let's him stay with us.

And he hasn't found the scars.

I still do it even though I know I shouldn't. I mean, I have no reason to now since I got Mika back.

But its hard to stop.

I just can't.

Mika POV

I walk around trying to find Yuu-chan. I'm worried about him. He's been acting differently ever since we reunited.

I need to talk to him about it. I need to find out what's worrying him.

I've walked around everywhere and Yuu is no where to be found. I walk inside to check the bathrooms.

As I get closer to the bathrooms I hear something coming from the other side.

It sounds like.... Crying.

I put my ear to the door to listen closer.

"You can't do anything right"

"You're pathetic."

"Weak."

"You could've saved the other children."

"Stopped Mika from becoming a vampire."

I recognise that voice....

It sounds like....

Yuu-chan!

I kick down the door.

"Yuu-chan what's going on?"

The sight before me was horrifying.

Yuu-chan...

On the floor....

Blood surrounding him....

Crying uncontrollably....

With open wounds all over his wrists...

"Y-yuu-chan?" I cover my face with my hands to cover my tears.

And to stop the smell of blood...

I walk over to Yuu-chan.

That was the biggest mistake of my life.

The smell, became overpowering.

I couldn't help it.

I lunged onto Yuu's wrist and started to suck up all the blood.

"M-mika"

I couldn't stop.

I became ravenous.

Out of control.

I drank and drank and drank.

I only stopped when Yuu became lifeless in my arms.

"Yuu-chan?"

"Yuu-chan are you okay?"

I checked for his pulse.

Ther was nothing.

I had just killed my best friend.

My brother.

I screamed, hugging into Yuu-chans dead body, crying hysterically.

*TIME SKIP- 2 DAYS LATER* *STILL MIKAS POV*

Life without Yuu-chans is so horrible I cant take it.

I am such a monster.

I killed him.

So now I'm going to join him.

Third person POV

When Mika took the Demon blade to his chest he could swear he saw Yuu in front of him.

Yuu was reaching out his hand.

Mika took it.

"Now we can all be together again, as a family"

And they floated away into the clouds.

The end

MY FIRST STORY IN LIKE A MILLION YEARS AND ITS SAD.

Tbh though I loved this story.

I know it was a crappy ending but I couldn't think how else to write it.
