Chapter 15

1 week later

Tomorrow is Jess's first birthday and I still can't believe it's been one year since she was born, it feels like yesterday!

It's around 8 in the morning and Me and Shawns are lying in bed

"So what do you want to get Jess for her birthday" I ask Shawn
"Idk she's only 1, does she need anything?" He replies
"Shawn! Still it's her first birthday, we need to get her something idiot"
"OuCh tHaT HuRt, Fine lets go to the shop today" he says
"Good I say, I'll go get there changed and ready" I say
"What! She can't come! She can't see her presents" Shawn stops me
"Right, So first if all you don't want to get her something and now you won't let her come so she doesn't see" I laugh
"Well yeh"
"Shawn she's not going remember" I say
"Ok fine whatever" he frowns
"Aww poor shawnies upset he was outsmarted by his wife" I joke

Later that day we got to the shops and buy Jess presents, we get her some new clothes, some small toys and a big tunnel thing and a new set of bowls

We get home and rap them even though she won't be able to unwrap them

That night Shawns parents and Aaliyah come in from Toronto and have dinner

The next morning we wake up around 9 but Jess is already awake so me and Shawn go in a pick her up
"Happy birthday my little girly" Shawn says giving her a kiss
"Morning baby, it's your birthday today, so happy birthday to my love" I say

We take her down to see, Karen, manny and Aaliyah

"Happy birthday Jess" Aaliyah says holding her up

"Happy birthday from nan and pop" manny and Karen say giving her a kiss

Soon mum, dad, and Kasey arrive and then Sidney charlie and Liam

We have lunch together and we give Jess her favourite food, we have some cake and sing happy birthday to her and it's so cute to see her smiling and giggling the whole time, she is talking more and more and she can say words like, mummy, daddy, hungry and play now, I really hope she can sing as good as her dad though

We give her her presents and she starts to play with the rapping paper, so cute!

In the afternoon we are sitting around the pool after having a swim and Charlie is playing with Jess on the grass and I go up to them

"So how's you and Lana?" I ask
"Good she's really great, I think I'm falling for her" he says
"I'm happy for you, your finally getting what you deserve in life" I tell him
"Thanks ash.... oh yeh and I forgot to tell you, my degree came through a while ago so now I'm a police constable, I started last week at the station" he says
"Omg charlie congratulations that's so good, I'm proud of you" I say giving him a hug
"Thanks"

Jess suddenly starts giggling
"Wow look at you all smiley hey" charlie says standing her up holding her hands in the air

We all watch her as she lets go of Charlie, and I look at Shawn with a massive grin

Jess then starts to take a step forward, then another until she starts WALKIG

Everyone cheers in excitement

And I run over and hug charlie
"You did it, she's walking charlie! Walking!"
"See what her GODFATHER can do hey Liam" Charlie says
"Oh come on I didn't even get a chance" he reply's
"Oh no not again, can we please concentrate on the fact she walked for the first ever time ahah" I say
"Yess of course that's my little granddaughter" my mum says

That night me and Shawn are laying calmly in bed
"Babe can I ask you something" Shawn says
"Sure what's up" I reply
"Do you wanna have another baby?" He says

I stop and think for a moment, all the thoughts running through my head of another baby
"Babe?" Shawn questions
"Yeh, I do...if you do" I say answering his question

Shawn smiles at me before, kissing me and rapping his hands around my neck, I kiss back passionately running my hands through his head

"God I've missed this" I whisper to him
"Oh me too trust me" he smirks

Today has been the perfect day and soon it will be Sidney's and liams wedding, perfect
