"Rylan and Nick can guys please cooperate and get in your spots. Stop the bickering"
I shake my head and step off the carpet
"I know my spot do I have to be here? Nick is really blowing me"
"Oh my fuc- Get in your place"
I huff and walk over to my place. We're at the venue practicing for the wedding which is in less then a week
They moved the date which is dumb as fuck.
"Now Kayla you walk down the aisle dropping the flowers and Jaxon you'll bring the rings, Nick you'll be standing with Charles, Joe, Reem and Dro"
I huff in annoyance and squint my eyes at Ivy who stood beside me. Who invited her ass here?
"Same time Saturday tomorrow we're going dress shopping ladies"
Ivy bumps pass me then looks over her shoulder as she walks over to Nick
"Excuse you, whore"
"Rylan what has gotten in to you? You've been acting out for the past 2 weeks?" My mom says through gritted teeth
"I know you saw her bump into m-"
"It was an accident" she interjects
"See, you just be doing the most " Nick adds
"How about you shut up and keep your dog in her place before I put her in it. And ma I just know you saw how-"
"Save it Rylan." She put her hand up dismissing me
I snatched my shit up and walked out the building calling myself an Uber
It's been like this for the past few weeks. Ivy been around a lot more than usual and my mom literally has been taking everyone else's side but mine. She's always dismissing me
And for Nick, he's been acting shady since he found out about Roy and I being official. Therefore him and Ivy always try and start shit with me to get me in trouble with my mom
I shook in anger thinking of how many ways I could've beat Ivy's ass across that floor
"Rylan!" I look over my shoulder to see my fake ass mama
I simply turn around to see my Uber pulling up across the street
"Oop my rides here, see you at home"
My phones starts to ring and Roy's face flashes on my screen after I had gave the driver instructions to my destination
"Hey baby" He says with a smile plastered on his face making me smile
"Hey love, what are you doing?" I say knowing he doesn't like to be called "love"
He kisses his teeth before answering
"What I told you about that? And I'm just chilling....all alone...missing you"
"I miss you even more babes." I say making a kissy face
He looks closely at the screen and frowns
"Girl where the hell you at? Who car is that?"
I start to laugh as well the Uber driver
"Baby chill, I'm in an uber"
He gave a yea right look. "Keep playing with me lil girl, better be on your way home"
"You know I am, but still if I wasn't what you gone do sir?"
"Beat your muthafuckin ass, you know better"
I bust out laughing again.
"Yea I know better" I agree nodding my head
"Matter fact I'm about to come get you, imma be outside when you get home" with that being said he hung up in my face
A few seconds later he calls back.
"My bad baby I love you" he hung up again
I shake my head and relax into the seat then look out the window for the rest of the ride.
I need a car

I finally arrive at the house and Roy was indeed waiting in the front. He sat on the hood of his car smoking a blunt
"Woah baby" Roy said in a silly voice as I approach the car
I wrap my arms around him and he pulls me in his arms hugging me tight
"God you smell soooo damn good"
"As always." I straight face him and he let out a laugh."I'm playing baby thank you"
"Mhm whatever, ready to go?"
He nods and we both got in the car. "You don't need anything from here?"
I shook my head with a slight eye roll. I don't even wanna step foot in the damn house
"What's wrong? You been kind of down lately, more than I've ever seen you down"
I shrug and play with my fingers
"I uh I don't know. Things just haven't been the same around here. I just don't think I belong in the picture anymore"
"What do you mean by that?" Roy asks as we approach a stop sign
"Like with my mom. She's really been brushing me off and kicking me to the curb a lot lately, well pretty much since I found out about her engagement"
Which is completely true. My mom and I don't see eye to eye at all, our bond is fading quickly
"Try talking to her ya know, try telling her how you feel"
I sigh
"It's not that easy. Every time I try and talk to her she shoos me off or she's scolding me"
"For what though, she been acting shady with my baby?"
