Two flowers
Grew together.

From seed to plant
Plant to blooms
They were
Always together.

The same colour
The same shade
The same fragrance

Their shoots entwined
They cried with happiness
For the joy of being together
Was unfathomable for them.

They lived a few days
And then
One day
A man
Robust and muscular
Evil in his mind
Took one of the two away
With him.

To prove his glory
Or the sight of two together
Was unbearable for him,
No one will know.

Little did he notice
He had
Ruined the roots of
The other flower.

It fought against all odds, the other flower
Tried surviving
But what is it without its other half?

Gradually
It fell to the earth
Surrendered
And
Died.

Wishing,
It would be born
As the stem of her partner
In the next life.
