Aiden signs in frustration. What is her mother doing?, he thinks angrily. Several cameras are being shoved in his face which apparently he despises but it's completely opposite for Cora and his mother. Both are enjoying the spotlight. Escaping from there, he marches towards the bar and orders a brandy. Gulping it instantly, he tries to calm his nerves. Just then, his gaze wanders in Belle's direction. She's sitting quietly, fixing her glass. He wonders what's going on her mind and what she's pondering so intently. It couldn't be about him, right?

He's still lost in his own thoughts when all at once his mother comes by his side, announcing that he have to dance with Cora to celebrate their engagement.

"I don't want to", he nearly snaps but controls himself. "What were you thinking when you made the announcement mother? You didn't even asked my permission."

"I don't need your permission, Aiden", Elizabeth says lightly with a smile. "I'm your mother. Now get up quietly and join Cora for a couple dance. She's waiting for you and don't create a scene."

He stares at his mother for a few beats before finally giving in. Walking towards the stage, he hears the host making another announcement that after the new couple dance there will be another dance where after every beat the couples will have to change their partners.

Belle watches silently as Aiden and Cora waltz on the beat of a slow song. Cora is literally clinging on Aiden.

"You alright?", Chris asks by her side and she nods. From the other side, she sees Mia looking at her and gives her another tiny smile.

After his dance, Aiden is about to leave when Cora clutches his arm.

"We have another dance together, Aiden", she says. "Besides the media are taking so many pictures of us. I'm sure tomorrow we'll be on the cover."

"I'm done, Cora", he says and is about to leave when he sees Chris and Bella approaching with the other couples for the second dance. The music starts and Cora slips her arms around him again. This time he does not says anything. He watches Belle from the corner of his eyes and frowns when he sees Chris's hands on her waist.

Why does he still feels jealous that another man is touching her?

Chris swirls Belle around and she turns and goes in Ian's arms. All around the partners get exchange.

"Are you okay,Belle?", Ian says quietly in her ears.

"I'm fine", she mouths with a small smile.

She gets twirls again and this time her partner is Aiden. Her heart starts beating violently and she looks around. Her eyes widen slightly when she feels Aiden's hands on the bare place on her waist. She's highly aware of his eyes on her and that's why she keeps on staring at his chest. She's almost shock that he does not shove her away.
