After the attack on the U.S.J. the school was closed temporarily. Students were given time off to get their heads sorted out and time to comprehend the attack. I happened to go on little adventures. Every weekend I would go out at least once and run around the city jumping from building to building blasting music through my ears. It was how I coped with things.
"Mommy mommy look up there!"
"Oh my it's them again!"
"WOAH!!! Did you see that mommy!? They went whoosh and swish!"
"Yes I did sweetie!"
I did this so often people had begun to recognize that I was even there. Let's just say I needed to vent out stuff a lot.
"Hey hey hey it's them again!"
"Dude look it's her!"
"She's so cool to watch jumping around!"
"She's like the Flash and Spiderman combined!"
I was even given a nickname.
"Look it's the Titanium Scout!"
Whenever I went on these little runs I'd wear something similar to a scout you'd see in the army. The usual goggles, tool belt, gun holster, and headset. The only difference was that I had several metal accents on my clothing such as steel-toed boots, shin guards, etc.
"Woah did you see that!?"
"They just ran across that truck!"
Stopping in front of Kaito's bakery I walked in and bought myself a drink and a muffin. I felt something tug at my baggy pants. Looking to my side I saw a small boy looking at me with sparkles in his eyes.
"Hello Scout-san! My name is Akashi!"
"Nice to meet you Akashi."
"This is my dragon! His name is Natsu!"
"That's a very cute dragon Akashi."
"He thinks you're cute too!"
"Thanks Natsu."
"Oh my gosh I am so sorry he just ran off and I couldn't stop him."
"It's fine ma'am. Don't worry about it."
"Now say bye to Scout-san honey."
"Bye bye!!"
I waved at the little boy and his mother. Oh how I wish I could go back to those days.
"Hey."
I turned to see a boy with purple hair and eye bags around my height.
"Are you really the Titanium Scout?"
"Unfortunately yes. Who are you?"
"Wait seriously?"
"Yes seriously. Now, who are you?"
"I'm Shinsō Hitoshi."
"Nice to meet you Shinsō. I need to get going now."
"Wait before you go what's your na-"
I had already taken off.
