The wind tonight was rapid, and it still continued to rain. Scott and I snuck out to go to the small restaurant a few blocks from the hotel-let's just call it home.

It played soft jazz, it was calming and dim. Nothing special though, but it was beautiful. There was only a handful of people in here, which was good for me, I didn't like crowded spaces.

The waiter came and I ordered a spinach and cheese panini, along with fries and a side salad. Scott ordered an enormous bowl of soup and a plate full of fries.

"So Elias, I'm no romantic, but," he stood up, and grabbed my hand, pulling me up, "would you like to dance?" His nose brushed over mine as he whispered his question, it sent shivers down my back. Before I could answer, he already started swaying my body to the beat of the music. I couldn't help but smile, he was gentle, something I'd never expected to see of him, but I'm glad I did.

We danced and spun around the small restaurant, earning cheers from customers. I couldn't help but get embarrassed and shoved my face in Scott's chest.

At last, our food arrives and we prance our way back to the table. It looked like a home cooked meal, and it made me hungry. I bagan stuffing my face, only to see Scotty staring at me, grinning.

"It's impolite to stare, Scott

"It's impolite to stare, Scott." I mumble, shoving another fry in my mouth.

"You're really beautiful, Elias." He mumbles, taking a smoke out and lighting it. I bowed my head down, biting my sandwich, and blushing terribly red. Never have I met someone who found me beautiful while I eat. "Let me try it." He says, putting his cigarette in the ashtray as it still burns a translucent smoke in the air.

"Oh, now you ask to take my food?" Scott rolls my eyes as I giggle. He bites it and makes the most disgusted face ever. I couldn't help but bust out laughing.

"How can you eat that? Spinach is so gross!" He takes his drink and gulps it down.

"I don't mind spinach, the cheese really takes over the flavor. The bread is good though." I shrug, finishing off the sandwich.

"You know, your lips taste better." I roll my eyes and move on to the salad, pretending to ignore him.

I eventually look up, and he was finishing his soup, his plate was clean, and so was mine. He'd finished my fries. "Do you want desert?" I smile and shake my head no.

"What's next?" I ask, watching Scott stand up, and putting a twenty bill on the table.

"Well, I know this place, it's an underground bar, no one really goes there. You up for it?"

I had no reason to say no, I've never been invited to go out and do things, and so far I loved it. "Okay," I respond shyly, taking his hand into mine. He grins and kisses my forehead as we walk out on to the sidewalk.

The town was beautiful at night, I can only imagine what'd it be like if I didn't know what really happens in the streets. Drugs, fights, prostitution. This town had an ugly side to it, but people still refuse to leave.

We walked a few blocks, enjoying ourselves, happy and laughing. It was amazing. We entered a small book store, Scott swiftly walking in as if he owned the place, he took my hand and lead me to the back. There stood a staircase leading down to what I believe is a basement.

"After you, M'Lady." He bows down and I walk down the big stairwell. It led to a dark base and a door. No lights or anything, just a door. Scotty soon followed behind me and knocked on the door.

The door with every knock. Soon enough, the door shoots open and a short guy lets us in. I looked at my surrounding. It wasn't at all what I was expecting.

It was a damn arcade. And it looked super fun. I looked at Scott in shock. He shrugs and says, "I know how hard being a sex worker is, it's nice to be a kid sometimes." He pulls my hair behind my ear and kisses me. I kiss back immediately, and I even slipped tongue, as a thank you. I couldn't be happier.

We played darts, ski ball, shot some baskets, and laser tag. It was only then I realized the time, and it definitely past our curfew. We were suppose to be home around one in the morning, but we were two hours late.

"Scott, Mike is going to be looking for us, we have to go!" I say in his ear.

"It's fine, he'll be fine babe." He says, rolling another call down the ally, earning himself another 1000 points.

"Babe, they could raid the place, I don't want Mike going down." I pull at his leather jacket. "Come on," I grab his hand, but he doesn't budge.

"Okay sweet cakes, here's the deal. If I make this thousand on the next shot, we stay and we enjoy ourselves. If not, we go home and call it a night." He throws the small brown ball in the air. Scotty then pulls me closer to him, grabbing my waist, and dips me. I squeal at the sudden movement. "A kiss good luck." He says, puckering his lips. I kiss back and he pulls me back up.

He stretches his arm and cracks his neck, a wave of confidence shoots through him and he throws the ball.

It scores him a one hundred, and we both sigh. Though I loved being with him, Mike was still my best friend and it would kill if I saw him go down.

"I guess it's time to go home." Scotty mumbles, walking back to the door we came in. "Did you have fun?"

"Plenty." I smile, walking back out on to the street. "Can we go out again?"

"Sure, but I'm working and you're not, so I'm not sure how the schedule would work." He shrugs.

There was nothing like fresh air in the early mornings. The only way things could be perfect in this moment, was if I was in California, on a beach. I miss the fresh air there, things were so much easier.

The sun began to raise and I couldn't help but smile. The nostalgia of tonight was something I didn't know I needed.

We arrived at our door, Scott was just about to unlock it, but I took his hands away from the door. He looks at me, almost confused, but I stared back into his dark eyes.

"Thank you," I whisper, smiling, "for such a fun night. I hadn't had on like that im such a long time." I caress his face, and plant a kiss on his lips. It was only up to him to deepen such a kiss, and he did. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close. This kiss wasn't like the ones before, this one felt like he needed it. Like he was missing something and he'd finally found it.

He eventually pulled away, which only made me want more. "You're welcome, Elias." He smiles, then kisses my forehead.
