FORTH POV
I laid in bed, looking up at the ceiling, thinking about everything over the past few days when my phone started ringing. I grabbed it off the nightstand and answered it.
“Hello?”
“What did you mean?” Beam’s voice sounded from the other end. His words sounded a little funky. Like he had been drinking.
“About what?” I questioned, confused.
“What you said earlier.” I thought back to earlier and couldn’t think of what I would have said.
“What did I say?” I asked voicing my thoughts. He was silent and didn’t answer. “Beam?”
“I just….I don’t get it.” He said softly. “I just figured that it would be obvious.” He said. I sat up in bed. “Maybe I’m overreacting.” He said sighing.
“Beam? Where are you?” I questioned.
“Bye, Forth.” He said before the line went dead. I jumped up and put my shoes on. I quickly dialed Beer’s number.
“Where would Beam go if he wanted to drink?” I asked as soon as she answered. I didn’t even give her time to even say hello.
“There’s a bar on xxxxx. He usually goes there. What’s going on?” She asked, but I didn’t answer her before hanging up an rushing downstairs to the car. I had to use my moms because mine was still, well broken.
It took about five minutes to get to the bar and when I pulled into the parking lot Beam’s car was parked near the back. I sighed, getting out.
I walked in the door and my eyes immediately found Beam. Beam and another guy. Beam was sitting on the other guy's lap with his arm wrapped around his neck. The guy was whispering something in Beam’s ear making him crack up.
I walked up to them and grabbed Beam by the arm and pulled him up.
“What the hell?” He asked yanking his arm away before looking up at me. “Forth?” He questioned. I nodded and grabbed his hand this time. I turned to pull him out of the bar but the guy’s whos lap he was sitting on grabbed my shoulder. I turned around and swung hard at him.
Was I just going to have to punch every guy after Beam?
“Don’t touch him.” I said before pulling Beam out.
“What is wrong with you?” He asked once we got to the car. He chuckled softly, pushing him against the car.
“Why the fuck were you sitting on his lap?” I questioned. Beam laughed and shook his head.
“Don’t even start.” He said. “You have no right to be mad. I realize that now. And I had no reason to be jealous of Anna. I mean, it’s not like we’re dating.” He said that last sentence with distaste.
“What?” I questioned. Was he upset that I said that we weren’t dating? I didn’t mean to upset him. I just paniced and I didn’t know how else to get my parents to stop asking questions. I sighed deeply. “Beam, that isn’t what I meant. I love you so much. I love you so much that I can’t stand being away from you sometimes. And you did have a right to be jelous about Anna. Just because we haven’t officially stated that were were dating doesn’t mean that you don’t have any rights to me. The same goes for me too. I wanted to do more than just much that guy in the face. He touched you. You let him. It made me so mad. I hated it.” I confessed. I was looking down at the ground and didn’t even realize Beam was sitting on the ground asleep.
Great. He’s passed out drunk. He’s mad at me. And I want to murder someone. What the hell is happening with my life?
I sighed and picked Beam up, putting him in the passengers side and buckling him in. I didn’t want to disturb his parents because it was so late so I just took him to my house.
When I got home, with all the strength I could muster, I pulled Beam upstairs and into my room. He had been in my room a couple of times. Not all of them nesscasarly good. Especially not now.
