Chapter 58

Mokuro groaned softly and opened his eyes. He saw some smoke in the air and sniffed something wierd
"Are you finally awake young Aihara?" An old woman's voice was heard. Mokuro's vision was blurry but soon it was clear
"L-lady Liana...?" Mokuro asked
"Are you feeling better now?" Liana asked
"I-I guess so..." Mokuro groaned as he sat up then rubbed his head. He gasped and stood up
"Wh-where are the others? Are they okay? What about my parents? Where are they?" Mokuro asked
"Calm down Aihara" Liana said as she patted his head softly. Mokuro nodded and sat down
"O-okay" Mokuro said
"Here's some tea to help you calm down" Liana said handing him a cup of tea. Mokuro held the cup and took a sip
"How are the others?" Mokuro asked
"The two cousins are recovering pretty well. Momokino is a bit exhausted and tired since his body isn't used to the new power" Liana said
"Wh-what about me?" Mokuro asked
"On the other hand...since you accepted her powers. It seems your heart is being corrupted...or should I say...gem" Liana said
"G-gem? But I don't have a gem. I never had one. I wasn't born with one" Mokuro said
"I know but it seems using your powers at maximum power activates your gem" Liana said
"The others too? Do they have a gem too?" Mokuro asked
"Yes they do" Liana said
"B-but where? I have never seen a gem before" Mokuro said
"Your gem is very different from a Royal Blood. Royal Bloods have their gem engraved inside their chest where it's visible but for you it seems that your gem is inside your heart and I mean literally" Liana said
"In my heart? B-but...but how?" Mokuro asked
"I'm not so sure either. It could be something about your parents. Mei is a Royal Blood and her gem is of course engraved in her chest. Yuzu's Royal Blood powers comes from her heart so it must be a combination but it's extremely dangerous" Liana said
"Why is it dangerous?" Mokuro asked
"Using your powers at maximum level is risky. You may use your powers with your gem activated but overusing your powers may be deadly. You may end up killing yourself by destroying your gem which will end up destroying your heart" Liana said. Mokuro's eyes widen and trembled
"S-so for this not to happen we shouldn't use our powers in rage?" Mokuro asked
"Yes but for now you must stay in control and keep your anger in control" Liana said
"What about my parents? Do they know about this...?" Mokuro asked
"Not yet. Some werewolves from the pack dropped you off in this place to take care of you and your friends. After the situation was over your mother had to stay to have a talk with the Royal Bloods" Liana said. Mokuro just clenched his fists tightly and teared up
"Aihara why are you crying?" Liana asked
"...I-I lied...my p-parents are probably mad or disappointed in m-me. I've always...always tr-tried to tell them but...I-I just couldn't...this whole monster thing is my fault! If I weren't such a stupid kid none of this would've happened! I should've done something and not just stand there! I should've stopped them! I should've! But now it's my fault! I screwed everything up!" Mokuro shouted as he cried. He covered his eyes and sobbed. He pinned his ears down and cried like a crybaby
"Mokuro it's not your fault" Mei said. Mokuro's ears perked up and looked up seeing his parents
"You shouldn't be blaming yourself Mokuro. None of this is your fault" Yuzu said. Mokuro just looked down feeling embarrassed crying at a young adult age. Mei and Yuzu walked up to him then sat down beside him
"Mokuro look at me" Mei said. Mokuro whimpered a bit and slowly lifted his head up to meet his mother's lavender eyes
"I-I'm sorry..." Mokuro cried softly. Mei cupped his cheeks and wiped his tears. Mokuro felt his mother's warm and soft touch which reminded him of his past. Whenever he cried or got hurt Mei would always comfort him and make him feel better. Mei kissed his forehead softly and smiled softly. Mokuro sniffed and tried to calm himself down
"B-but it's still my f-fault..." Mokuro mumbled
"No it isn't Mokuro. Don't blame yourself for this. It's not your fault. Everyone makes mistakes once in a while" Yuzu said as she ruffled his hair
"B-but I fucked everything up. And the others...I-I should've done something but instead..I-I let them fight...they-they could've died" Mokuro said as he teared up once again
"Jeez Onii-chan I know you care for us but you don't have to cry about it" Hasura said as she woke up.
"Onee-chan!" The Lauper twins said and ran up to her. Hasura giggled and hugged them back
"Hey little bitches" Hasura giggled and ruffled their hair. Mokuro stood up and hugged Hasura
"Asshole get away!" Hasura said
"I thought you died!" Mokuro cried. Hasura sighed deeply and patted his back softly
"There there little baby. I'm fine. You see? I'm okay. Now let me go because you're crushing my boobs" Hasura said
"S-sorry" Mokuro said pulling away and blushed a bit
"Hasura!" She heard her parents cry and hugged her
"Are you okay? You're not hurt are you? Does it still hurt?" Harumin asked looking at her body checking for any injuries
"M-mama stop. I'm fine" Hasura said
"Yeah Harumin. Our daughter is hella strong. She can fight anyone" Matsuri said.
"Thank goodness you're okay. I was so worried!" Harumin said and hugged her once again
"Time for hugs" Matsuri said and hugged her too. Hasura just blushed and hugged her parents back
"Oh so you hug your parents back but not your big bro?" Mokuro asked
"Shut up. It's different. They made me and gave me birth" Hasura said. Mokuro just shook his head and wiped the tears he had but of course his tears came back again at the sight of his boyfriend
"Cutie!" Mokuro cried and ran up to him giving him a tight hug
"M-mokuro!" Shinjo exclaimed and tried to get out of his grip. Mokuro just grabbed his chin and kissed him. Shinjo blushed deeply and kissed him back. Mokuro wrapped his arms around him then deepened the kiss. Shinjo wagged his tail rapidly pinning his ears down as he wanted more
"Ahem! Get a room to fuck around!" Hasura said. Shinjo pushed Mokuro and wiped his mouth as his face was completely red. Mokuro looked away and blushed as well
"Awww my little boy is embarrassed" Shai said and wrapped an arm around him
"M-mom!" Shinjo exclaimed
"Shinjo I'm glad you're okay!" Himeko cried and hugged her son. Shinjo blushed and hugged her back
"Relax mama. I'm fine" Shinjo said. Shai wrapped her arms around them and played with their hair
"Just don't scare us like that again" Shai said and ruffled his hair
"Yes mom" Shinjo said and gasped
"Wait mom what was that electric thingy that came from my body?" Shinjo asked
"Well my mother had that same power but her body weakened whenever she used her powers. I guess her body wasn't able to handle it. I must've had it but since I have more of my father's powers those powers never showed. You must've inherited her powers" Shai said. Shinjo looked at his palm and turned it into a fist
"Hell yeah! I have a new power!" Shinjo said as he jumped
"Just be careful not to use it very often. You still have a lot to learn on how to use that power" Shai said. A bit of electricity was formed in his hand and he chuckled softly
"Awesome!" Shinjo said and shocked Shai
"Ouch! Hey I told you not to use it" Shai said
"Sorry mom" Shinjo said.
"Mama! Mom!" Nathan and Natasha said as they ran up to their parents
"You kids shouldn't run away like that" Cyndi said as she carried Natasha
"Yeah you kids could've gotten hurt" Nitski said
"We're sorry. We won't do it again" The twins said. Meanwhile Mitsuko walked to the room where Misuki was. Misuki had her head down and her ears twitched hearing footsteps close by. Misuki just sighed deeply and kept staying still
"Misuki..." Maruta said and walked up to her. Misuki just growled and her tentacles came out hissing at them. Mitsuko sighed deeply and walked up to her
"Misuki...enough. Put them down. Now" Mitsuko said sternly. Misuki clenched her fists tightly and mumbled. Her tentacles slowly vanished and left
"Now sit up and look at us. You have some explaining to do" Mitsuko said. Misuki sighed deeply and sat up then looked at her parents with teary eyes. Her face had no emotion
"I don't get why...why I keep doing this...I'm just scared...mad...upset...grrrrr...I don't know anymore! People keep saying I should be more like you! Why!? Why!? I don't get anything or why I keep doing this!?" Misuki shouted and cried as she clenched her fists tightly and her chest glowed as the two gems she had inside her heart activated. Her tentacles came out hissing and squirming around
"Stay back!" Liana said as she came in with some powder. The powder she gave to Misuki made her drowsy and deactivate her powers. She fell on the bed and her tentacles fell asleep. Misuki groaned and felt her vision blur
"S-so...tired..." Misuki mumbled before falling asleep
"What's wrong with her?" Mitsuko asked
"I must talk to everyone about this" Liana said. She went back and gathered the adults to explain about the gems. She began to talk about everyone's gem. How each gem was very different and extremely dangerous to activate
"What about Misuki's gem?" Maruta asked
"Her gems are much more dangerous than any other gem" Liana said
"Excuse me? G-gems?" Mitsuko asked
"Yes. She has two gems. A Taniguchi and a Kayo gem. Of course those two gems don't combine with each other so well. After all she did inherit Maruta's dark power and Mitsuko's powerful strength. Those two powers combined can get out of control easily. Misuki has to be careful and needs to learn to control that power. That power could kill one of you in one hit if that power hits you directly in your chest" Liana said
"When Misuki was younger she got out of control and attacked Micchan directly in her chest" Maruta said
"Misuki's powers weren't completely activated at that time and her powers weren't strong enough to hurt you severely" Liana said
"Is there a way to help them out?" Himeko asked
"For now there is nothing we can do. All we can do if try and practice these new powers or at least stay in control. I'll think of something to help you out with this new gem activation power" Liana said
"What about my babies?" Cyndi asked
"Mama!" Nathan said
"We're not little" Natasha said
"You two are still little" Nitski said
"Well for a Lauper I don't believe they're dangerous or they have a gem but they probably haven't been able to activate their gems. Though they do have those Mizusawa traits" Liana said
"And does that have any affect on them?" Nitski asked
"I'm not sure. For Matsuri's traits it seems Hasura is a real flesh eater. She enjoys devouring any kind of flesh. Since the twins are half Mizusawas there is a chance that they might act the same way as Hasura if they lose control over their souls" Liana said
"E-eh!?" Nathan exclaimed
"We're going to become monsters!?" Natasha exclaimed
"Not completely monsters. All I'm saying is that you may lose control and end up attacking your surroundings" Liana said and grabbed a piece of flesh
"Your animal souls are the ones that get out of control" Liana said and threw the piece flesh at Nathan. Nathan took a bite and Natasha bit the flesh as well then the two began to fight over it. They growled and shifted into their fox form fighting for a piece of flesh
"Hey let me join in!" Hasura said
"Hasura don't" Harumin said but Hasura shifted into her fox form then bit the flesh. The three foxes were rolling on the ground fighting for flesh
"Lady Liana what is this for?" Harumin asked
"Yeah what's the purpose for this?" Matsuri asked
"Wait for it..." Liana said as she threw some powder on the kids. Suddenly a black shadow was attached in Hasura's back and Liana used her powers making the kids turn back to normal
"Hey! What was that for?" Hasura asked rubbing her head softly
"I had to stop you before you ended up using your powers on them" Liana said
"Ha! I win!" Natasha said and ate the flesh
"Awwww man" Nathan groaned. Lady Liana just laughed softly and pulled out some flesh for the kids
"There's enough for you kids" Liana said as she fed them. The kids growled and began to devour their meal
"So that black shadow thing attached to her...what was that?" Harumin asked
"It's their dark side but...I shouldn't say theirs but yours" Liana said
"Ours?" Mei asked
"These shadows look more like all of you and I have a feeling...they were summoned" Liana said
"Huh? Summoned? By who?" Yuzu asked. Lady Liana just looked at the kids and could see the dark shadows attached to them like leeches
They were summoned by him...guess the time will be happening soon...and soon...I'll be gone as well...
