Chapter 66

Shai just stomped the ground as she created her ice crystals aiming at her grandmother. The wolves howled and ran towards them as they were ordered to attack by their own Alpha. Yuzu and the rest prepared themselves and fought back attacking them
"Wow...now this is entertaining" Hasura said
"Aren't we suppose to help them out?" Misuki asked
"Nah they can totally defeat them" Hasura said. Their ears perked up and turned around seeing other wolves growling at them
"You six stay behind us" Maruta said as she attacked the wolves with her tentacles
"Especially you two. I don't want you two to get hurt" Cyndi said and attacked the wolves with her Royal Blood powers
"Awwww that sucks. I wanted to kill" Hasura said and groaned
"Hey look who I found" Mokuro said as he had captured a wolf
"Alright little twins. Now eat it" Hasura said
"B-but how?" They asked
"Oh come on now. This is now your practice. Just take his organs out" Hasura said. The wolf shifted back to a human and Mokuro pinned him down slamming his whole body down then crushed his head
"Woah! Cool!" The Lauper twins said
"Now take a bite" Hasura said
"Hmm? Like this?" Nathan asked as he shoved his face inside the stomach and pulled out his guts
"Hey! I wanna take a bite!" Natasha said and bit down on the liver pulling it out. The two twins glowed as their mouth made contact with blood and all the sudden the two Lauper twins began to tear apart the body and devoured his flesh
"What did you do!? They can't eat that much flesh!" Cyndi exclaimed. The two twins growled shifting into their fox and attacked the wolves tearing them apart
"Gaaaah! Get it off me!" The wolf shouted whimpering in pain trying to get the twins off of him
"Awww come on Auntie Cyndi. At least they're helping out" Hasura said
"We're going in!" Mokuro said and jumped inside the arena then began fighting with his parents
"Hell yeah! Let's kill these bastards!" Hasura shouted and jumped in the arena to fight. Misuki and Shinjo both jumped in then fought the wolves
"Haha! This is so fun!" Hasura said and ripped off a guy's head
"You mean fighting in family or something?" Misuki asked as she shoved her tentacles through a guy then ripped his entire body into pieces
"Yeah! Family fun time!" Hasura said and threw the wolf's body down then pulled out his organs. Static appeared on Shinjo's body as he grabbed a wolf's tail then electrocuted him. He grabbed his body then used it as a weapon attacking the others knocking them back. Meanwhile Mokuro was fighting the pack with his parents ripping their heads off and pulling out out their organs
"Is this all they've got?" Mokuro asked and broke the guy's neck
"There pathetic..." Yuzu said as she crushed their heads
"I bet more will be coming" Mei said and pulled out the wolf's heart. Yuzu turned to look at Shai who was fighting her own grandmother. Shai punched the ground hard creating ice crystals then aimed them at her grandmother
"Jeez you're seriously trying to kill me? Hmph. I never did anything wrong" Her grandmother said
"Nothing wrong? You abandon my father when he needed you the most...you left him" Shai said
"Oh so just because I left him I deserve to die?" Her grandmother asked
"Not only that...but you're working for him" Shai said
"He seemed like a pretty nice guy. Besides....doing what he wants will make us all be protected. He truly helps other animals out" Her grandmother said
"Heh...how? By experiments? I've seen that man! That asshole...using experiments...using us as their guinea pigs! Treating us like slaves! I almost died because of them! They driven me to insanity!" Shai shouted as tears built up in her eyes and her body glowed
Flashback
Once Shai was captured she was tied up. Shai struggled to break free from the ropes and growled
"Sir...we've caught a werewolf Okogi but this one doesn't seem to have powers. What should we do?" The hunter asked
"A werewolf with no powers? Are you serious?" A hooded man asked
"Yes sir. This one was easy to catch" The hunter said
"It takes a while to capture a werewolf. Werewolves are meant to be strong and tough but I'm guessing this one isn't like the other wild werewolves" The hooded man said
"But it's still a werewolf sir" The hunter said
"Hmm? I guess so...but we'll help her out" The hooded man said with a slight smirk. The man took Shai dragging her to a room. Shai trembled and was thrown inside the dark room. She squirmed around and tried standing up
"Hey! Calm down you bitch!" A man said and felt a pair of arms carry her. She moved around and saw a chair nearby with tools
"L-let me go!" Shai shouted and another man came as he helped put Shai in the chair tied up. Shai struggled to move and felt tears built up her eyes
"Let me go! Bastards!" Shai shouted as tears rolled down her cheeks and onto the floor
"Relax kid. Since you're a powerless werewolf we'll use you as an experiment. Don't worry you won't die. We must keep you alive and see how your body will react with these substances" The man said as he grabbed a syringe that had an odd substance. Shai cried and trembled as she felt scared to death. Her eyes widen as she felt the needle stick inside her arm then her body trembled as she felt this odd feeling and her blood rushed through her veins while her heart pounded fast
"AAAAAAAAAH!!!!! GAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Shai shouted as she felt this painfully rush through her body as foam began to form in her mouth
"ST-STOOOPPP! STOP IT!!!! GAAAAAAH!" Shai cried

Shai stood there for a moment as she remembered her young years. Beaten up and treated like shit. Her eyes were slowly filled with insanity and smiled
"Hehehehe...you know. I'll just kill you...just like father killed him!" Shai laughed as she ran towards her grandmother. Mrs. Higashi just watched her and smirked
Wow...crazy like her father
Shai ran up to her then attacked her but her grandmother dodged then kicked her as she created ice crystals and used them to attack Shai. Shai's skin turned to ice and the ice crystals broke once they made contact with her armor. She ran towards her then stomped the ground hard and pinned her down. Shai raised her fist as she was about to attack but someone stopped her. Yuzu held her wrist tightly and looked at Shai. Shai looked back at her with insane looking eyes
"Hahaha...Yuzuko why on earth did you stop me? Can't you see I'm busy trying to kill this bitch?" Shai asked as she still had a smile on her face
"Shai...stop. This isn't you..." Yuzu said. Shai just looked down and laughed softly
"Are you serious...? Hahahaha...I guess you're right...but why do you care? Heh...you killed your very own cousin...remember? You weren't being yourself at all and I was being myself...I was always the calm one but...hehehehe...hahahahaha! Hahahaha!" Shai laughed which scared everyone. Even her own family. Shinjo stepped back and pinned his ears down
Wh-what happened to mom...? She's...in pain
"You...you...you were always the strongest even if you were only half werewolf. Hahaha...I look pathetic...I am pathetic. I was only a damn weakling...with no strength nor power...every werewolf looked at me like I was different. I guess I was different...especially since I was the only artic wolf...hehehehehehe...I wonder what would've happened if I were gone. I still remember that day...that day where I was underneath water...that feeling...hehehehe...I just wanna die...I wan-
SLAP!
Everyone's eyes widen and even Shai who was much more surprised than the others. That slap was so hard it even made Shai fall down. Shai trembled and slowly lifted her head up meeting up with Himeko's dark violet eyes
"Stop it...stop thinking that way! Stop beating yourself up! Forget the past and everything! You have us now! Like you said before we're all family! We protect and care for one another! We love each other! Please Shai...just stop..stop hurting yourself like this.." Himeko cried. Shai's eyes widen and trembled as she stood back up
"H-himeko..." Shai mumbled and stared at her hands then cried
"F-forgive me...I'm sorry Himeko!" Shai cried and ran up to her as she hugged her tightly. Himeko buried her face on her shoulder and muffled her cries. Shinjo had tears rolling down his cheeks and ran up to his parents as he wanted to join in on the hug as he cried. Shai held him closely and stroked his hair softly
"I-I'm sorry for the w-way I acted..." Shai cried softly. Shinjo wiped her tears and hugged her tightly
"I-it's okay mom...we still love you" Shinjo said. Shai smiled softly and held them both closely then kissed both their foreheads softly. The old lady stood up and looked at the family
Hm? Maybe she isn't exactly like her father....I wonder if her son is like her
Suddenly their was a slow clap heard from the entrance. Everyone turned around seeing a hooded man but he was probably old already by his voice
"Hehehe...what a wonderful family reunion. It's nice to see all of you. Especially you...Shai" The hooded man said and many other men came in with their weapons which were much more advanced than the originals they had before. Shai glared at the hooded man and clenched her fists tightly
"You bastard..." Shai growled
"Wow you've grown so much. The last time I saw you was when we kidnapped you. Of course we let you free to capture the others...sadly you never came back. In guessing you changed by the way you were staring at me. The younger version of you was always crying like a little baby afraid to die but now this older version of you is perfect. I guess you weren't so useless after all..." The hooded man said as he smirked underneath the hood
"Just leave us alone and don't hurt them" Shai said
"And who's going to stop us? You?" He asked
"Yes..." Shai said and growled
"Hahahaha! Why yes of course you're the one stopping us. Hehe I know you're just acting brave and strong because you're in front of your wife and son but the truth is...your a pathetic weakling" The hooded man said and smiled. Shai clenched her fists tightly and growled furiously
"You bastard!" Shai shouted running up to him
"Shai! Don't!" Himeko said but Shai ran up to him but got attacked by someone. Her eyes widen seeing it was Diane
"D-diane!?" Shai exclaimed. Diane's eyes were pure red and a smile formed on her lips
"Shai...my beloved Shai...hehehehe...I love you so much" Diane said. Shai's eyes widen and realized she was injected by something
"D-diane! Listen this isn't you! Snap out of it!" Shai said but Diane kicked her. Shai fell and looked up at her. Diane's eyes laid on Himeko and laughed softly
"I can't believe someone like her is with you....you deserve someone better like me!" Diane shouted as she ran up to Himeko. Himeko prepared herself for the qttack but Shinjo ran up towards her
"Sh-shinjo!" Himeko exclaimed. Shinjo attacked her using his electric power
"Leave my family alone!" Shinjo shouted and Diane fell back. She trembled and looked up as she laughed softly
"This close...killing you but...that Aihara was in the way" Diane said
"So I wasn't hallucinating! I was right! I knew you tried to kill him back then!" Mokuro shouted
"S-so you really tried to kill him...?" Shai asked as she teared up and trembled in fear
"Hehe...of course but he was lucky to have Mokuro by his side" Diane said. Shinjo growled and decided to attack again but suddenly the hooded man stopped him by holding him back and did the rest to them using his necklace except for Diane and Himeko
"Why not a small little game? A small duel to see who is able to win her heart" The hooded man said and chuckled softly. Himeko glared at Diane and clenched her fists tightly
