Chapter 65

Mokuro and Shinjo sprinted towards their mothers. Mei sprinted towards them both and attacked which made Shinjo fall back
Damn...she's too strong
"Shinjo you alright?" Mokuro asked
"Y-yeah I just couldn't keep standing. She's too strong" Shinjo said as he got back up but met up with Mei again as she was about to attack him. Mokuro ran towards her but his attack was blocked by Himeko. Himeko pushed him back then kicked him hard. Mokuro was still still standing and Shinjo kept blocking Mei's attack and stomped the ground creating ice crystals. Mei kicked the crystals breaking it and grabbed Shinjo throwing him to the ground. Mokuro kicked Himeko's shield and knocked her back. He went for another attack but Mei kicked him hard knocking him back. Shinjo stood back up and threw his shield towards Mei then ran towards Mokuro helping him up
"Sorry Mokuro" Shinjo said
"No need to be sorry. It's fine. This is just practice anyways" Mokuro said. Suddenly Mei ran towards them as she was ready to attack them but Shinjo blocked her attack while using his ice powers to stay still. Mokuro grabbed Mei's arm then used his powers to attack until Himeko came in attacking him. Mokuro fell but grabbed Himeko's leg throwing her down to the ground. Mei grabbed both of them and threw them down to the ground with an attack
"Ouch...I can't m-move...my body f-feels numb" Shinjo groaned. Mokuro growled and stood up but stumbled a bit. His body trembled and fell on his knees. His body glowed and healed himself up then healed Shinjo up
"Come on. We can still fight" Mokuro said as he helped him up
"Hehe yeah but do you know how long it will take for us to knock them down?" Shinjo asked
"But we can't give up yet" Mokuro said
"Well I give up I can't do this no more" Shinjo said as he walked out of the arena. Mokuro just rolled his eyes and growled
"Something wrong?" Misuki asked
"Nah...it's nothing" Shinjo said as he sat down. Mokuro walked out of the arena and glared at Shinjo
"What the hell was that? Why do you just quit easily?" Mokuro asked
"Just because I want to..." Shinjo said
"Just because you want to? Idiot..." Mokuro said mumbling the last part as he sat down
"Anyways...I think it's time for Misuki's and Hasura's training" Liana said
"So what will we be training?" Hasura asked
"I guess you've already done this move. The Double Combo Taniguchi skill" Liana said
"How did you know?" Hasura asked
"I've already said this before...I know everything" Liana said
"Oh...right" Hasura said
"Mitsuko and Harumi. You two will be fighting Himeko and Mei. Young children pay close attattention on how they fight and how they work together" Liana said
"Yes ma'am" They said and looked down at the arena. Harumin and Mitsuko entered then activated their powers
"It's been a while since we've fought Aihara-san" Mitsuko said with a slight smirk
"Are you here for a rematch or something?" Mei asked
"You could say that..." Mitsuko said and sprinted towards her but Himeko stood in front of her blocking her attack. Mei turned around once Harumin appeared then kicked her side but Harumin grabbed her leg and threw her down
"Is that all you've got?" Mei asked and attacked her but Harumin backed up dodging her attack. Mitsuko broke the shield and Himeko fell back held onto Mitsuko trying to drag her down. Harumin turned around and tackled Himeko grabbing her then pinned her down while Mitsuko attacked Mei. Mei dodged then attacked her
"Heh you're still weak" Mei said as she grabbed Mitsuko's arm then threw her down but Mitsuko grabbed Mei's shoulders and threw her down with her. Harumin and Himeko both fought and tried to pin each other down
"Come at me little chihuahua" Harumin giggled
"Shut up you little bunny" Himeko growled as she attacked but Harumin dodged then attacked. Himeko blocked her attack and backed up as she moved forward pushing her down with her shield. Harumin fell back and saw Himeko run towards her but Harumin lifted her legs and kicked her back. Himeko fell and growled lowly. They both stood up and went back to fighting. Mei and Mitsuko both growled and roared at each other as their souls activated then fought like wild beast
"Jeez they're taking this fight too serious" Misuki said
"I mean your mom did fight her in the past. I guess they're just rivals" Hasura said. Mitsuko kicked her then attacked her using her powers. Mei fell back but kept standing as she wiped the side of her lips since it had a bit of blood
Hehe...her powers are still the same. Even her strength...
"Come on you can do so much better than that" Mei said. Mitsuko clenched her fists tightly and gritted her teeth.
Why can't I defeat her? She's still fuckin strong...
Mitsuko growled and ran up to Harumin grabbing her arm pulling her away from Himeko
"H-hey what the-"
"Let's begin. I want to end this..." Mitsuko said. Harumin nodded and both her and her sister ran up towards them as they attacked. Himeko blocked their attack with her shield while Mei blocked it with another attack. Mitsuko and Harumin backed up then began to charge up their power as they ran towards them with speed and strength. Himeko created her shield again trying to block while Mei stood behind her then her lavender eyes glowed as she helped Himeko out. Once Mitsuko and Harumin made contact with the shield they unleashed their full power which ended up becoming a huge explosion. Everyone held onto something as the strong impact creating a powerful wind that could push you back
"God damn! What's with the explosions!?" Hasura exclaimed
"Holy fuck! I don't think I can hang on any longer!" Misuki exclaimed as she was letting go but Hasura wrapped an arm around her waist. Shinjo just used his ice to stay in place while Mokuro clawed his seat and stayed in place as he was hanging on. Suddenly more powerful wind came as the Taniguchi sisters began punching their two other opponents. Himeko kept blocking and tried to stop them both. Mei growled and sprinted towards them as she grab them both then threw them down. Mitsuko and Harumin grabbed Mei then attacked her as they combined their powers. Mei felt a painful sting go through her body but stayed standing then her body glowed as she released her powers and attacked them both. Mitsuko and Harumin laid on the ground as they both groaned in pain. Mei let go of them and stood up panting heavily
"You two have improved but still...not strong enough to defeat me" Mei said. Mitsuko and Harumin lifted their arm up as they attacked Mei. Mei turned around and got hit directly on her face
"M-meimei!" Himeko exclaimed and ran up to her then stopped. Mei kept standing and looked at the two Taniguchi
"Nice try. It did sting a bit but it wasn't enough to defeat me. Heh...maybe next time" Mei said as she smiled at them. Mitsuko and Harumin just laid there groaning in pain as they were healing their body slowly
"Wow...she's unbeatable" Hasura said
"Yeah...it's scary" Misuki said
"Now...you four go down there and try to fight each other" Liana said
"Liana I know we've asked this question many times but why are we training? What for? Is there some danger out there?" Mokuro asked. Lady Liana stood there in silence with their back turned on them
"Lady Liana?" Mokuro asked. Lady Liana stayed quiet and her ears twitched hearing howling wolves near by. Everyone's eyes widen and felt a cold breeze making them shiver. The lions began to roar and headed to the front
"Wh-what's going on?" Hasura asked
"Why is it getting cold?" Mokuro asked as he shivered then looked down as ice began to form in the arena
"M-mama! L-look out!" Mokuro exclaimed. Mei turned around and kicked the ice breaking them
"Let's get out of here!" Mei said as she ran towards the exit but the ice began to surround them
"M-mei!" Yuzu said and jumped in breaking the ice. Suddenly artic wolves came in while the lions kept fighting with their fire. Yuzu shifted into a werewolf and growled at then grabbing them by their tails and threw them against the wall hard. The wolves whimpered pinning their ears down and their tails between their legs
"Calm down everyone. I just came here for a small visit" An old woman said walking in the arena. Yuzu growled and shifted back to normal
"Who are you suppose to me and why are you here?" Yuzu asked
"Oh Alpha Yuzu. It's an honor to meet you" The lady spoke as she bowed down. Yuzu just glared at them not believing they were kind
They're here for something...aren't they? And they're all from the artic. Could it be? Are they looking for...Shai?
"Why are you all here?" Yuzu asked
"Oh dear we already told you. We came for a small visit" The lady said with a kind smile on her face. Yuzu just glared at them and looked at Liana who was heading her way while the children stayed back watching
"I-is something bad happening?" Nathan asked
"N-no I don't think so" Hasura said
"They're all from the artic..." Mokuro said
"And there is one person who is also from the artic" Misuki said
"A-are they looking for mom? She didn't do anything wrong right?" Shinjo asked as he trembled slightly. Matsuri just walked away with Nitski
"M-mom where are you going?" Hasura asked
"We're getting Shai. You kids stay here with Maruta and Cyndi" Matsuri said and left with Nitski heading to the room
"Good afternoon ma'am. You must be that witch lady everyone talks about" The lady said
"It's nice to see you...Mrs. Higashi" Liana said
"Wow I guess everyone's right about you. You do know everything" Mrs. Higashi said and smiled then noticed the two Mizusawa foxes head towards a room then froze them in place but Matsuri teleported
"Ah...a half Taniguchi? Pretty impressive..." Mrs. Higashi said
"Why are you here?" Liana asked
"Hehe...isn't obvious? I came for her..." Mrs. Higashi said
"Who? My cousin?" Yuzu asked
"Hm? Hehehe...I guess you've already figured out I'm looking for Shai" Mrs. Higashi said
"Why are you looking for her?" Yuzu asked
"Wow so many questions. You are a curious one aren't you?" Mrs. Higashi asked
"But why are you looking for her? There must be a reason why you're here..." Yuzu said
"Heh...well after abandoning both my husband and son...I decided to see my granddaughter even though many years have passed already. She must be a full grown woman already" Mrs. Higashi said and looked at Himeko
"And it seems she must've been busy with...Momokinos" Mrs. Higashi said and walked up to Himeko
"You must be Himeko Momokino...hehe a pleasure to meet you in person" Mrs. Higashi said as she smiled then noticed something about the four young teens
"Wow...so she did have a son. I'm impressed how a couple of females like you could make babies" Mrs. Higashi said
"Amyways why did you bring the whole pack here? Are you going to take her by force or something?" Yuzu asked
"No...that's not what I'm planning" Mrs. Higashi said. Suddenly the wolves howled and barked as Shai got out of the room with Matsuri
"You feeling okay?" Matsuri asked but Shai looked down not replying and kept walking up to the old lady. Each step Shai made an ice crystal grew from the ground. She stopped and slowly lifted her head up. Shai glared at the old lady and gritted her teeth. Her grandmother just smiled and giggled softly
"You look exactly like him..." She said
"Why are you here and what do you want with me?" Shai asked
"I just came for something that belongs to me...that power" Her grandmother said. Shai just glared at her and sighed
"Power...hehe...is it what father took from grandpa?" Shai asked
"Oh so you know your father's story?" She asked
"Yeah...sorta of" Shai said
"Come with us. We'll take you home for a bit" She said
"Hehehe...home? I'm already at home. Do you think I'm stupid or something? Hehe...I know why you want me to be there. You're working for that man.. isn't that right? Grandma..." Shai said and smirked. Her grandmother looked at her and smirked
"You're pretty smart...even though you act like him" Her grandmother said
